Send Northgate to OotM World Finals

This Northgate High School Team of problem solvers, swept all of the categories, winning 1st place at the State Odyssey of the Mind tournament at UC Riverside. Now the team will be representing the state of California at the World Finals this May at Iowa State University.

We are raising money to help offset the cost to compete at the World Tournament. They will get to compete against teams from all over the world, stay in the dorms on campus, attend NASA sponsored activities and even be buddies to an international team.

The team will be flying from San Francisco to Des Moines and staying on the campus of Iowa State. Transportation, room and board, shipment of props results in a cost of $1,500 per person. 

OM is a creative problem-solving competition that is completely student driven, and encourages students to think “out of the box”. As you well know, the creative thinkers of today will be the leaders of tomorrow. We have the incredible opportunity to contribute to their success. Thank you in advance for doing so.
