Jack's Leukaemia battle

Donation protected
13 year old Jack was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) in August 2017.  He then began months of chemotherapy treatment and had many stays in hospital.  In spring 2018 Jack went into remission and had some time to recuperate and enjoy outings with his family.  Unfortunately by late summer 2018 He had relapsed and the Leukaemia had returned, he was given more intensive chemotherapy, which weakened his immune system resu!ting in several infections, Jack having to have his appendix removed and an operation to repair his bowel as he had extensive bleeding, he also suffered palsy to his face, he spent Christmas in hospital, but all through this he kept his cheeky smile and lovely nature.  A course of radiotherapy followed in January.  Unfortunately this treatment hasn't been successful so a few weeks ago we were told there was no more treatment the NHS could offer to help Jack.  After extensive research Jack has been receiving alternative treatment and therapy which has helped Jack's symptoms and enhanced his quality of life massively, we have been funding  this ourselves but this has been expensive and we have got to the point where we are struggling to pay for continued treatment.

Thank you for reading Jack's story...please if you can support  us by making a donation to help us continue with Jack's treatments we would be so very grateful. PLEASE READ LATEST UPDATE: Jack has sadly passed away, Amy and Dave would like all the funds raised to go to the charities that have supported them through Jacks illness, they are invidually listed in the latest update, and would love it if you could continue to donate in memory of Jack.. love and blessings Jane x
