Help my brother Izzy fight cancer!
Donazione protetta
My name is Claudia Huesca. I am seeking your support on behalf of my bother, Izzy Huesca. He has been battling pancreatic cancer for over a year. Due to the aggressiveness of the cancer, Izzy needs several medications that are very expensive. He has not been able to work, which makes it more difficult to make ends meet and at the same time be able to purchase his medicine.
Something amazing happened on April 18. UCLA researchers discovered a breakthrough for pancreatic cancer treatment delivery! That's not it! On May 1st, Izzy has an appointment with the leading doctor of pancreatic research from UCLA. We are hoping he can start the trial treatment soon. This means that his health insurance will not cover all the costs, including this first appointment, which cost is $1,000. It is impossible to set a financial goal on GoFundMe, but every penny helps!
Let me tell you a little bit about my brother. He is the fourth of seven siblings. I remember when growing up in Mexico, Izzy liked to stop at the arcade machines before going to school or on the way to an errand. Five minutes would turn into half an hour or even more. He would get in trouble with my mom but I don’t remember a single time when he disrespected her. His skills went beyond arcade games; my brother has always had the innate interest to create images of horror and intrigue. I often wondered where he found the inspiration to create such unique and sometimes scary characters that were part of his art. His imagination is profound and beyond our reality. Just last year, with the help of family and friends, Izzy had his first art exhibition, “My Dreams in Black and White.” You can his artwork on his page https://deatharchives.wordpress.com/2012/03/06/h/
Izzy was a young father and one of the best I’ve known. Him and his wife, Chio, have three children, David, Sahian and Sheccid. David and Sahian attend college and work on their “free time.” Sheccid is about to start high school and is an avid writer. They are wonderful, strong and loving kids! They have stood strong during this difficult time, making his parents feel loved and supported. It’s amazing to see them so young yet so strong. My brother's family is amazing. We truly appreciate your support.
