Girl Baseball Breaking Barriers

Donation protected
Raine was introduced to Baseball at 3 years old her first interview at age 8 showing her desire and love for the game. Raine has already broken many barriers playing Baseball on Boys only teams. In 2017 she was the first girl to pitch on a boys team and a girls team in a Western Canadian Championship playing on 2 teams during the same tournament breaking the gender gap, she was the first person to play on 2 teams at the same time.
Raine needs your help to keep going forward.
Raine can't attend Team Canada training Camp without you!

In 2018 Raine was the first girl to be selected for team BC Boys Provincial team competing against 200 boys across BC to get a spot. Raine competed in 2 Provincial Championships pitching the finals in both games earning a Silver Medal and Gold in the other, winning took her to the Canadian National Championships U13 AAA level which is the highest level any girl has played on a boys team coming home with a Silver Medal. Raine has abilities as a pitcher that go beyond the norms for a boy or a girl she finished tryouts for the U15 Cardinals Prep boys team in October was selected as a pitcher at 13 her pitching has caught the eye of Team Canada and she will be going to Cuba in February 2019 to train with Team Canada's Woman's team with her eyes set on playing Baseball, where could her abilities take her, Major League Baseball perhaps?
Raine can only do this with your help!

Right now Raine just wants to play Baseball she loves it  her dreams are she would love to play on both Men's & Woman's Team Canada.  Not only that, she wants to be an inspiration to young athletes, to keep fighting, to keep going towards whatever you set yourself up to do, even when you’re headed in alone as the only girl. To take it upon yourself to go in a direction only people have dreamt of, make that new path for others to follow behind you, to inspire them, and for them to set off on to their own from what you built, knowing where you have come from helping others get there by giving back.

It does not matter how talented you are you need money to be able to get yourself to these training camps so coaches at those levels can evaluate the player this means if you can't get there you can not get picked. Could Raine be the only girl to make it to the Major League level  we will only know if she can if she is able to attend please help her get there.
Raine's Dad survived colon cancer but it has left her parents barely being able to afford the monthly bills never mind sending Raine and her brother to Baseball camps and training programs that can change their lives and take them to the highest levels of Baseball.

Raine's Family supports her in her endeavours but struggles to fund Baseball at this higher level as travel and accommodation costs increase substantially sometimes we have to ask for help to get our athletes in a position to represent Canada on a global level. Please consider supporting  Raine to see that her goals are within reach. Thank you.
