On July 18th the unthinkable happened on I-75 in Gainesville, FL. Atira Marshall was struck by a car and left leg was severed trying to help people that had gotten into an accident in the pouring rain. Atira is alive through the grace and mercy of God, however her family's life has been changed forever because Atira lost her leg. Please read her story here.

The road to recovery is going to be hard and long, especially since Atira and her family reside in the metro Atlanta area and they are in a hospital in Gainesville, FL.
With no knowledge of whether the driver of the vehicle had insurance or not and what process Atira and her family will need to take to get justice and financial assistance, we want to get a proactive start on helping them with medical costs, living expenses and travel costs which are estimated to be well over the fundraising goal of 20K.
We ask if you know Atira, us, the family or not that you please give to help them in this time of need. No amount is too small and no amount is too big, just please give something to help them. Please also share with your networks, family & friends in hopes to raise as much as we can to help Atira and her family.
