Hi there! I've never asked anyone for money before so this is strange and awkward to me. But my Canon is dying. I got it refurbished on a trade in from a previous used Canon and it has served me well for about 6 years now.
Alas, it's giving up the ghost, and I need to replace it. I'd very much like to get something new, as I've never actually had a brand new camera before, and so I've set my sights on a Canon Eos 7D Mark II. (The kit, because I could also use a couple new lenses and I do not put on airs about kit lenses.) I'm hoping to raise the money fairly quickly, because I'm not sure how much life the old boy has left in him.
