Scandal and Injustice...
Samia has been dealing with unjust lawsuits being filed against her, in both Saudi Arabia and the United States, since 2011!
The latest is an incredibly baseless lawsuit filed against her and her dear mother, Ann, to the tune of $10 million dollars in Federal Court in Boston, Massachusetts!
Who is suing Samia and her mother?
Hayat Sindi, a well known public figure, and member of the Saudi Shura (Parliamentary) Council.

Samia has been put through the ringer. Last year alone, Sindi attempted to have Samia held in contempt by a Washington State Judge. Why? Because she refused to reveal the names of women who posted their opinions of Sindi Online.

As a result of the case in Washington State, Samia owes more than $30,000 in legal fees for her defense of free speech. The case is still active.
The current lawsuit
Samia's insurance company, State Farm, (through a miracle loophole) was providing the legal representation and paying for Samia and her mother's defense in the $10,000,000 lawsuit. However, as the case fees surpassed $200,000, State Farm sued Samia to be allowed to stop paying. State Farm won, but, out of a goodwill gesture, they agreed to cover all legal expenses up until the May 23rd 2016 scheduled trial date.
BUT.... Hayat Sindi filed for a continuation of the trial, and now, the trial is set for July 11, 2016. Unfortunately, there will be no coverage from State Farm at that point and both Samia and her mother have no way of paying these looming legal fees.
PLEASE HELP!
We cannot allow Samia to have a $10 million dollar judgement made against her because she can’t afford to defend herself! It is unjust and simply unconstitutional to take away Samia's freedom of speech.
ALL of the funds that are collected will be sent into the trust bank account belonging to Samia's attorneys. Any funds remaining after the trial has ended will be donated to an established civil rights defense fund.

رفعت دعوة ضد سامية حتى لا تدفع هذا المبلغ وقد ربحت الدعوة لكن و بلفتة إيجابية، شركة التامين وافقت
على تغطية المصاريف الى يوم 23 أيار 2016 و هو موعد المحاكمة، لكن حياة سندي طلب تمديد الدعوة,
الموعد الجديد للمحكمة هو 11 تموز2016 و عند هذا الموعد سامية ووالدتها لن يكون لديهم تغطية من
شركة التامين لدفع الفواتير القانونية.
