Starting a New Life
Hey guys, I need your help!
I'm making my first big move and my finances have dipped to the point that I'm starting to worry I won't be able to make my 2nd rent payment and travel expenses upon arriving in the new town.
I live in an abusive situation where I pay rent yet am threatened that by my stepfather who owns the house. He knows I have nowhere to go currently and continuously berrates and intimidates me by saying he could kick me out if I don't pay his increasing demands. While this has been happening, I have also been trying to help my mom with some major things around the house that need repairs and this is where most of my finances have been allotted.
Not to mention, I have just been hit with a new medical bill.
I have been planning to move to out for the past 2 years and now I have a chance. I'm planning to move from NY to TN where I will be rooming with a friend who lives there.
I have broken down my expenditures for the move:
Rent $600+$600=$1200 for first two months
Travel $78
Shipping $125
Medical $1620 - 15 months of $108
Total = $3023
If I can get this, I will finally have some piece of mind and a new start.
I can and will take on commissions while also managing my Etsy account.
