Help Hobbes get back on her feet

if u already know who i am then u can just skip to the next paragraph where i tell u how everything in my life sucks but if you happened across this or saw it shared and you don't know me - my names is hobbes. i'm a 22 year old photographer / filmmaker / artist and transwoman trying to make it out in LA

for the past 6+ months i've been on a perpetual job search trying to find a source of steady employment while freelancing my creative skills on the side. i've applied to countless jobs and been fired 2 times in as many months for reasons that have nothing to do with my own shortcomings and i'm realizing more and more how hard it is to survive as a young queer woman, especially as one who has very little experience and was unable to go to college.

on top of all the job struggles my bike was recently stolen and my computer broke and as a photographer and creative professional these were the tools i used on a daily basis to support myself and my career. due to my recent financial circumstances i haven't been able to replace these tools making it that much harder to get more work

now within the next week i need to move out of my current living situation which is bringing on a whole new set of costs including deposits / first month rent and moving costs that i simply don't have.

i never though that i would end up in this position and it feels so crushing to not be able to provide for yourself but the truth is that it's hard and the system works against people like me and against our success. i'm trying as hard as i can to push forward and i just need a little of your help

here's a break down of the costs that are included in the set goal - 

MOVING (due next week)
- security deposit: $500
- first month's rent: $500
- various moving costs(eg. truck rental, application fees, etc): $150

COMPUTER
- new pc powerful enough for photo / video editing workload: $1300

if you've read this far i really appreciate all your support and good vibes. it truly means the world to me. this has long been one of the hardest points of my life and i truly feel that if i'm able to make it through this next month and get myself back together with a fresh start i can put myself in a place where i am able to succeed
