I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that affects the bile ducts of the liver. This came as a complete surprise to me and my family. I went to the ER because I was dealing with severe itching and other painful symptoms that just did not seem right, and everything changed from there.

I am determined to keep fighting and to cherish every day I am given. At the same time, I am doing my best to keep my personally owned business, Edwards Painting, running while I go through treatment and recovery. This diagnosis has brought physical, emotional, and financial strain into every part of my life, and it has become increasingly difficult to manage both my health and the responsibilities that come with staying afloat day to day.

I am being treated by Baylor Scott and White and Texas Oncology in Dallas, and I will also be making trips to MD Anderson in Houston as I continue this fight. The costs tied to this do not end with one appointment. Support will help with ongoing medical expenses, everyday living costs, business expenses, and other financial burdens related to treatment and recovery as they continue over time.

Predictable support can make a real difference by helping me keep up with the recurring needs that come with cancer treatment while also trying to maintain my business and daily life. If you are able to give on a recurring basis, that steady help would mean so much. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated, and every contribution can help lighten the load for me and my family.

If you are not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community would mean just as much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers, generosity, encouragement, and support as I fight this battle. Every donation and every share reminds me that I am not fighting alone.

At the request of the family, I have created this go fund me to help with medical expenses for Xavier Gross. His grandmother, Gretchen will be the person in charge of the funds raised. Please keep this family in your prayers.

Xavier Gross Medical Expenses

Our family is going through something no one ever wants to face. My sweet grandson, Riley, was hit by a car and is currently in the hospital recovering from multiple serious injuries — a broken femur, a broken humerus, and a broken elbow. He’s undergone 2 surgeries and 2 blood transfusions in 4 days. He’s in so much pain, and the road ahead will be long, with surgeries, physical therapy, and time away from school and normal life.

As you can imagine, the financial strain this is putting on our family is overwhelming. Between medical bills, travel, and time off work, every little bit of help makes a difference. If you’re able to donate or share, we would be incredibly grateful.

Beneficiary will be his parents Amy and Tony Trammell

On Sunday, December 15,2024, Jesse, Dani, and Hope Bunk along with their dog Little Bit were in a horrific rollover accident in South Dakota. By the grace of God, they all survived. Jesse took the brunt of injuries, needing a total of 3 different surgeries on his right hand. This also required a helicopter ride from Sturgis SD, to Billings, MT to get Jesse to a hand specialist and save the hand. Dani has had 2 CT scans. Unfortunately insurance will not pay for everything. Please donate to this wonderful family to help cover medical expenses.

Hi, my name is Kim Stone. I live in Dallas, Texas. But none of this is about me…

I am raising funds to sponsor Baby Siro. Siro is a beautiful 6 month old baby boy that currently lives in Vietnam with his loving parents, grandparents & big brother who is only 3 years old. Siro is dying from an OPERABLE brain tumor. The family has exhausted all the possible medical care in Vietnam - there is no surgeon in their country that is skilled enough to operate on a such a tiny patient.

Baby Siro’s Aunt Angela is a local resident and nurse in Dallas. She fought hard to find a medical solution, even after the doctors in Vietnam told her family to give up on saving Siro’s life. Her friend and colleague Dr. David Sandberg Pediatric Neurosurgeon at the Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, has followed the baby’s medical history closely and has determined that he is a candidate for surgery and that there is hope for removing the tumor saving Siro’s life!

Time is running out for Baby Siro. This surgery has to happen asap. The tumor is growing rapidly. Because this baby and his family are not US citizens, there is no financial help for him - no medical relief for his family whatsoever. The cost of the surgery without any additional surprise testing or emergency procedures is $97,370.44. The surgery must be paid for in full before the hospital will schedule the procedure. Medical visas are hard to get, but we are confident if we can prove his procedure is scheduled, immigration will likely grant his emergency medical visa. But we need to raise this money fast!

Angela’s entire family, including Angela herself, is selling everything they own including their own homes to scrape together the funds to give Siro a chance at life. She is working 6-7 days a week to save enough money to bring the family to Houston and help pay for every test and procedure. Angela and her family are very humble and private with their personal affairs, but they realize they cannot save Siro’s life without help.

I, Texas Kim, am asking you to donate to Operation #savebabysiro - to give a baby from a third world country, a chance at life - a chance he can only get through a surgery in the United States. I have a beautiful healthy 2 year old daughter, and I would hope that if anything happened with her health, that people would fight for her to live - to raise the money if that’s what we needed, to save her life. It’s my promise to you, to update you all with all the news - good or bad - and to also personally deliver the money to the hospital or the medical facility - to guarantee that the money goes directly towards medical costs and the family’s basic needs during this stressful time.

Thank you for reading our story. Thank you for caring enough to get to the end of this message. Please donate whatever you can, to help this not be the end for Baby Siro. We are so grateful for every dollar you donate, because each dollar represents hope for this tiny human that deserves a chance at life. #savebabysiro

Help Baby Siro have Life Saving Surgery!

Mom has been in the hospital for 3 months and then in a long term rehabilitation facility. The doctors and nurses failed her via malpractice. She died 2 times within a week in a half because they failed to do their jobs and clean her trachea tube like they are support to and the 2nd time she was dead for over 15 minutes for the same reason and the ems (literally walking distance across the parking lot) took 15 minutes to come and rescesitate her. She was brain dead. None of us were prepared to lose our mom especially when it was unexpected and mama has always done for everybody else putting herself last. She had the fiercist and biggest heart. We are going to cremate her next week. Anything to help towards this would be so appreciated. We are all tapped out with traveling expenses and hospital bills and now this ontop of our loss.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this. We are attempting to gather a small collection to provide some financial support to Bries family during their most difficult time. As Amanda, Chris and Madi move through the motions of funeral and memorial arrangements, financial worries should not be an added concern. They are deeply grieving their tragic loss and I’m sure will appreciate your kindness.

We are raising funds to assist with expenses for the Rowan Family. We appreciate any donations and thank you all for your support.

On 1/3/2021 Keith and Rita Alexander lost their home and everything inside of it to a house fire. The only thing they were able to save were some guns that belonged to his father that passed away a few years ago. Keith and Rita have lived in the Yuba/Achille area their entire lives. Keith obtain minor burns to his hands and wrist while trying save the guns from the house. Unfortunately, he was not able to get back into the house after that. We need funds to help with immediate needs such as clothing and housing , as well as longer term needs to replace other personal property such as furniture, kitchen goods, etc.

All funds will be forwarded into a benefit account setup for Keith and Rita at First United Bank in Colbert.

The life of Dwayne Brazzell Jr. was tragically taken on Sunday, November 29th. If you knew him, you knew that he had an infectious smile that could light up a room, and a great sense of humor. Dwayne was known as a Lewisville High School football hometown hero and was loved by many. He leaves behind his mother Sheila, father Dwayne Sr., brothers Shannon and Danielle, and his beloved daughter Teah. Dwayne did not have life insurance so all donations will go towards his funeral expenses. We ask that you continue to pray for the family as we learn how to navigate life without our son, brother, father, and friend.

Kindest Regards,
Shannon Brazzell

Hello, family & friends,
As many of you know our good friends Scott & Rhonda Graham are facing the most trying season of their lives.
Scott has been suffering in his health for over 2 years now. He has experienced many hospital stays & numerous diagnostic test. He was recently diagnosed with AL Amyloidosis. He has a long road ahead of chemo therapy treatments for the next 4 to 6 months. After chemo they are hoping & praying he is strong enough to do a bone marrow transplant using his own stem cells.
With all this being said, all who know them, know they have always been hard working & giving. Now they find themselves not being able to take care of all the medical expenses along with the everyday living expenses. The pressure they are both under is very heavy. I pray that we can all help lighten their load. I'm very aware of the uncertainty we are all facing in our world right now. However, if we all do what we can it will help tremendously! If you can give please do, if you cant give you can certainly Pray.

Our thoughts, prayers, & love are with you Scott & Rhonda!

Money is the fastest way I know how to help. Anything you can do please donate.

Thanks

On February 15, 2019, our dear friend, Daniel Bodrie, Jr. tragically lost his life in a car accident. While the outpouring of support and love for his parents, Dan and Lisa, as well as for the rest of his family has been so very comforting during this time of great loss, there will be very tough days ahead for the family - well beyond the celebration of life.
It is our hope that we can band together to help ease some of the burdens of settling his affairs in the very near future. There are many costs in doing so that are often not realized during the initial shock and grief of such a sudden and tragic loss - that’s where we hope to step in to provide some measure of relief for the family in the weeks and months ahead.
If you are able to contribute to this effort in any amount - no matter how big or small - your gift will be appreciated more than you could ever know! Likewise, even if you are unable to contribute in a monetary way - please know that your love, prayers, and words of support for the family are just as valuable! The family takes great comfort in how much Danny was loved and lives on through the memories of so many!!

In loving memory of Daniel Bodrie, Jr.

#7DAYSOFSETH, by IAFF Local 1291. **ENDED**
What is this, you ask ? Well, Denton Firefighter Seth Wolfe is a brother in need. About a year ago, Seth began having seizures out of nowhere and has had a long road to the FIRST of his TWO BRAIN SURGERIES. Now, a week after his brain operation, he and his bride Jordan are encountering a severe financial crisis resulting from this initial procedure, and now face even more an even more daunting crisis with the second. Even though Seth did not want me to do this, I now present to you #7DAYSOFSETH, with a goal of $12,000 by Friday July 13th. Seth is formerly a fireman in Keller, TX, and currently a drummer in the Denton Fire Pipe & Drum Band. He is a man of upstanding character and too humble to ask for help, but we THANK YOU in advance for ANY HELP whatsoever, even if it is $5. Every cent counts for this young family right now, and every single cent goes toward their mounting medical expenses.

Here is the situation, better told by Jordan Wolfe (lifted from her Facebook page):

I think it’s past the time that I share this with you all. Seth doesn’t always willingly explain what’s going on with because sharing the hard parts of life is, well... hard.

On January 9th 2017, Seth had his first of many seizures. After some hospital stays and neurologists not sure what was going on with him, he was finally referred to an epileptologist at UT Southwestern. He was diagnosed with Epilepsy (Complex Partial Seizures). This has dramatically changed his job, what he can do in general, and how he goes from place to place everyday.

These changes have been kind of tough for both of us to deal with, especially since it can be hard to understand how someone could develop epilepsy and what that even means as an adult. Seth’s doctor has given him multiple seizure medications and none of them have touched him. He is now having about 10 seizures a month while on meds.

Seth’s case was presented to a panel of doctors and surgeons and was given an overwhelming recommendation to have brain surgery.

We talked to the surgeon a couple of weeks ago and have scheduled the first of two surgeries (Stereo EEG) at the end of June of this year. The second surgery, happening a month after the first, will ultimately be the removal of his right temporal lobe (about 5 1/2 cm of tissue).

This is a pretty scary thing for both of us to soak in, however, Seth says he feels fairly at peace with it all. We are ready for this chapter of our life to be over so we can get back to normal. We are and have been trusting in God throughout this whole ordeal and pray for direction in every decision that needs to be made.

It’s been a 1 year and 3 months long journey for us . It’s been hard for us to take it all in and even harder to share it all. Seth always needs encouragement. He can feel pretty alone and misunderstood as an epileptic. What he appreciates more than anything is when people talk to him and ask frank questions about what his life is like with epilepsy. Seth is the kind of person that would rather hear about you than talk about himself, so ask him.

Most of all... please pray for healing. We are still believing for a miracle.

7 Days of Seth, by IAFF Local 1291

My sister was diagnosed with Cancer last year and all efforts were made using conventional methods. As of now these methods have not worked and she is now in an even more difficult battle. She and my family have decided to try the alternative treatment plan. Of course with non FDA approval and the insurance company not paying, this could become a huge financial burden for my sisters family. The institute she will attend is in Grapevine Texas and the cost range is from $1000-$5000 a week. Any funds will help to assist in living expenses and with medical treatment bills, past and present. Treatment starts next week and this is urgent. Due to their family being reduced to one income because of the Cancer, the financial burden is becoming heavy. I am deploying with the US Navy in the upcoming months or I would be out trying to raise money in other way's, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks to any and all that would be willing to help my sister. She is a wife and a mother and does not deserve this hand being played, so I am trying to help any way I can.

Help Stacey Fight Cancer!

Often, no one thinks a catastrophe will happen to them. However, on December 2, 2017 my sister had a massive stroke. She is a widowed single mother, with 3 fantastic children. Her kids are intensely scared, and their lives are now filled with fear and the unknown, and they need urgent assistance.

As her intensive rehab begins in the hospital, we've been forced to close my sister's business, the life-blood of her family. Family and friends felt such pride seeing her run it, even after her husband died almost exactly 3 years ago. She was brave, mourned with her kids, but planned a safe life for them all.

Closing her business brings massive stress to her kids. Aside from their mom's rehabilitation, their other goal is to not only have basic needs, but to stay in school. We cannot take them out-of-state. It is vital they finish in Texas. The word 'normal' has been erased from their lives. They are great kids. Very bright. My sister has instilled in them a love for learning that some kids lack, and college acceptance has always been a phrase in their lives that may not come true now. With funds you give, their homage to their mother will live on.

Money has now left the college piggy bank and is now being used for the kids to plan a life without mom as their provider. Children shouldn't have to live through loss at such a young age. Monetarily, we can't help as a family. Our funds are gone. With your help, we can give these beautiful kids what they need right now-the strength to nurture mom without stress of not surviving themselves.

I'm happy you've read this and thank you. My sister's kids need help. Some happenings in life are true emergencies. This is one.

Massive Stroke and a Single Mom

Seth was diagnosed with Asthma pretty early at age 2. He was baby B of twins and was the smaller one. His sister Charisma was baby A and is strong and healthy. Seth has an asthma/allergy specialist AND a pulminologist he sees regularly. More so than his pediatrician.

His asthma and allergies are so severe, he lives on steroids daily, which is terrible for his body, long term.

His doctors are frustrated that he takes so many meds including 3 inhalers, 2 nose sprays, allergy meds, nebulizers, etc. and keeps his rescue inhaler and his epi pen close. Not to mention his monthly allergy injections (2) and his special injection he was finally approved for when he turned 12 called Nucala. Seth’s allergies are environmental. No known food allergies but pretty much everything else. We try to keep his sleep environment as clean as possible but we can’t control the outside world nor will be put him in a bubble.

National Jewish Hospital is a facility in Denver, Colorado that specialize in people with Seth’s problems. His doctors are desperate for him to go so that maybe there is a drug out there that can help Seth like the 20 meds he is on right now cant. NJH has access to drugs and testing that normal facilities don’t. They want Seth there for 12 business days. 2 ½ weeks! It’s considered day surgery in that we do not spend the night. We have to take care of transportation, meals, room and board. What Seth’s insurance does not cover, we have to cover.

A team of doctors will be assigned to Seth as they follow him for the entire time he is there. They will focus on his severe eczema, allergies and asthma. It will be in stages with his team of doctors always with him. He will have multiple upon multiple testing done including head to toe exams, CT scans, skin tests, etc. Again, a lot of it depends on what insurance covers. It’s 8-5 with evenings and weekends off.

His current doctors have never seen the severity of Seth’s allergies. His levels are so high that he is maxed out on a lot of the inhalers (4) that he takes. He takes adult dosages at this point which at 12 years old is so scary for his body. It scares me what long term damage we are doing just to ensure he can breathe normally. He is so used to breathing at such a low lung capacity that when he does have an asthma flair up, it is a life and death situation unlike most ppl that can do a nebulizer or rescue inhaler and be ok.

Seth's Asthma Trip to Colorado

On January 7th of this year, Tristyn Wallar was involved in an ATV accident while at the deer lease with her father and friends. She was driving an ATV with 2 of her friends when the ATV was struck from behind by a truck traveling over 75mph. Tristyn was partially ejected from atv on impact and drug over 250 feet before the ATV and vehicle finally came to rest. Her right leg was pinned in the ATV and suffered a compound fracture, her left leg was pinned beneath the back wheel of the ATV. Both of her legs suffered broken bones and she suffered a significant head injury and grade 4 concussion. She was extracted from the ATV and care-flighted from Nocona General Hospital to Parkland where she spent 10 days. Parkland Hospital performed emergency surgery on her legs and began treating her head trauma. Prior to being released from the hospital, she had to relearn how to walk on her broken legs and function with the effects of the concussion and head injury.

Since being release from the hospital, Tristyn has had to endure weekly rehabilitation appointments for physical, cognitive, and speech therapy, along with counseling. The family had insurance, but were notified by Humana that their policy would end on June 30th, because Humana was withdrawing from the Texas independent market. This left the family to find alternative insurance and get hit with another large medical deductible and increased premiums for her ongoing medical treatments this year. The driver of the truck's insurance was inadequate and will not cover the cost of her medical expenses or ongoing treatments. Tristyn is being treated at Children’s Hospital for her rehabilitation and they are requesting 4-6 more months of treatment. The family is in the process of securing other insurance coverage to help cover the cost of these services and her ongoing medical expenses. These funds are being collected to help assist with the families deductibles and ongoing medical expenses.
