<div>First, we would like to thank you for taking the time to view and read this page. Our loved father, grandfather, husband, brother and uncle, Rick was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 lung Cancer which has metastasized into the lymphatic system. Rick and his wife Rose were recently away when he started to notice that he was becoming short of breath and having difficulty breathing. While away Rick and Rose received the news that his mothers health had rapidly declined and she didn’t have much time left. They immediately turned around to head back home. Unfortunately, she passed away a few short hrs before they made it back home. After the passing of his mother, Rick was able to get into the Doctor to get his breathing and small lump on his neck assessed. The Dr. performed a number of different test to help determine what was going on. After getting the test results back, it was determined that he has a large mass in his right lung and it had started to spread throughout his lymphatic system in his chest and neck. Rick unfortunately is not a surgical candidate and needs to start treatment immediately.

<div>Rick is a very proud and hard working man. He never asks anything of anyone and would never reach out to the world and ask for help. The reason we, his children, have decided to reach out for some assistance is for a few reasons. The first is to help with the costs associated with treatment. Thankfully, he does have insurance but will only cover up to 80%. Each chemotherapy and Immunotherapy treatment averages around $52,000.00, which we thought originally was around $10,000.00, and this is not including the additional testing he will need along the way. The second is to help with the cost of living over the next several months as he undergoes treatment. Between the physical symptoms he is experiencing from the tumor pressing up against his airway and symptoms that come from treatment he will be unable to work. His wife rose is also unable to work currently due to the help and care he is needing during this very difficult time.

<div>The last thing we want is for him, being the man he is, is to have to worry about how they will pay their bills along with covering the costs of treatment he desperately needs to heal his body. Rick deserves to be able to take this time to get treatment and let his body heal. The last thing he needs during a time like this is the stress that comes along with worrying about finances.

<div>Rick has spent his life dedicated to his wife, three kids and two small granddaughters. We all love him so much! He has worked hard his whole life to support his family and puts everyone’s needs, even strangers before his own. Rick has a kind and gentle heart and would give you the shirt off his back. Any of you who know him personally know how true that statement is.

<div>We are going to do any and everything we can to make sure Rick gets the care he needs. Making sure he’s around for many years to come, watching his kids and grandkids grow, and spending his golden years traveling and enjoying life.

Help Rick Battle Stage 3 Lung Cancer

A home that has been in their family for generations, now has to be rebuilt from the ground up. The entire house is destroyed.

<p>A family of 8, with a grandmother, two parents, and 5 children, 2 of which are babies, and their pup Mia. We are extremely grateful that their family made it out safe, but unfortunately their belongings, mementos, and valuables did not. There is absolutely nothing.

Ginny and her husband Joe are 2 of the best people you will ever meet and they have always been there to help others. They have two children, their daughter Deborah and their son Jack. Like many of us self-employed people, their medical insurance leaves a LOT to be desired. For example, Joe told me they received a $1600 bill and the insurance covered $60. Unfortunately, a medical crisis like this can ruin you and take over your life. My desire is for them to not have to worry about the medical bills but be able to concentrate on Ginny's care and healing. Ginny Creekmore Medical Expenses

Local 731 union brother, Joe Fitzgerald​, had an accident on December 3rd, 2018. He's been in the hospital for nearly three months now. Because of the way his legs were positioned for several hours when his sister found him it has caused major damage to  his legs and he's had to have multiple surgeries so far. He still has a very long road ahead of him and unfortunately he will be wheelchair bound. A couple of union guys have volunteered to help with labor to make his basement apartment where he was living more accessible to him once he gets released from the hospital. They're trying to raise some money to help with the materials, if anyone could donate that would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will be going directly to his mother, Kathleen Colgan Fitzgerald. On September 9th, 2018 at 5:06AM Parker Faith Balland made her way into this world! She did not waste any time while making her appearance, and her mommy Bri, did the most amazing job getting her here! She was welcomed by her daddy Casey, and Aunt Kiri’A!<br /><br />Before Parker was born all seemed well with the pregnancy and there was no reason to have any concerns. When she arrived, visually we could see there was something wrong with her right arm, although no one had any idea what exactly it was, we all knew it needed attention. Parker was taken to the NICU after quick snuggles with mommy, and shortly after Casey and Bri were informed she needed to be transported by helicopter to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. <br /><br />After arriving to Phoenix Children’s Hospital they took Parker back for surgery. Although they were able to restore blood flow to her hand and arm there does seem to be some dying muscle. Due to these things, Parker will be in the NICU until they can find more answers and see her arm heading in the right direction. The Drs are confident she is on the right path, but do want to keep a close eye on her. <br /><br />As as mentioned before this was all an unexpected shock for Casey and Bri. The days to come are full of unknowns, as of now there are very limited answers and explanations. I ask first and foremost that you keep this family in your prayers. Prayer is so very powerful! Please pray for healing and comfort, for Parker, Casey and Bri and of course big sister Oaklie. Also, if you are able or willing to give, the Balland family would be forever grateful! These funds will go towards helping with any medical bills that come up, unexpected expenses, travel expenses and food expenses or whatever Casey and Bri need to make it through the upcoming weeks. <br /><br />Parker’s story was neat from the beginning, and this is only the first chapter. Prayers for Parker

Joe is such a sweet, smiley baby who just turned 1 back on  April 12th.  Just a few short days later he started vomiting and couldn't keep food or drink down.  Mom and Dad (Erica and Ryan Carr) made multiple trips to the E.R. and had overnight stays for what they thought was a simple stomach virus and dehydration.  <br /><br />Fast forward to 5 days of Joe not eating or drinking anything, a nurse called for more tests.  After 2 days of testing and a trip to Children's Hospital Of Pennsylvania (CHOP), it was found that Joe had Choroid Plexus Carcinoma, an extremely rare and extremely aggressive form of brain cancer that  is debilitating and deadly.  This cancer is so rare that it only affects .03 of every 1 Million people and a doctor at CHOP believes they haven't seen a case in 10 years.<br /><br />The current diagnosis on Joe is as follows:  He has a 3 inch mass (tumor) on the left side of his brain.  The aggressive tumor has also spread throughout other parts of his brain as well as his spine.  There has already been a brain surgery to insert a tube to relieve the fluid around his brain.  There is a major brain surgery scheduled for Wednesday 4/25 to remove the tumor and work on removing the other pieces of cancer that surround the brain.  The surgery is so intense that they do not have a time frame for how long it will last.  If all goes well with the surgery, the next step will be 2 months of intense chemotherapy to rid the spine of the cancer since it is inoperable.  The doctors explain the cancer as "sugar coating" down the spine, where it doesn't create tumors, but rather coats the spine in cancer.  For Joe, it has spread across his entire spine.  <br /><br />During this time, there are going to be massive medical bills as well as 2 hard working parents who will be out of work to spend as much time with their child as possible as he desperately fights this terrible battle.  We are asking for everyone's help to support Joe, Erica and Ryan in this trying time of their lives.  Any little bit helps the situation and eases the tension and stress that mom and dad are already under - a stress that mom is dealing with while pregnant with Joe's little brother.<br /><br />Pictured below is Dad (Ryan), Mom (Erica), Sister (Kylie) and Joe.  <br /><br />Thank you kindly for your generous donation and we will keep you updated on Joe's progress as we go.<br /><br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29387628_15246026000_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="29387628_15246026000_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29387628_15246026220_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="29387628_15246026220_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29387628_15246026380_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="29387628_15246026380_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29387628_15246026870_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="29387628_15246026870_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29387628_15246026980_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="29387628_15246026980_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29387628_15246027080_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="29387628_15246027080_r.jpeg" />

<img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/24909242_1509032778.6293_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><br /><br />Hi friends,<br /><br /> Last Friday we worked with,  Friends of Puerto Rico a non-partisan, non-profit organization that invests in the orange economy by supporting the arts, education, and entrepreneurship to catalyze economic development and stimulate a sustainable economic development. <br /><br />We landed in Aguadilla, a small village on the west coast of the island in the mountains. <strong>No relief has been brought over.</strong> <br /><br />We brought over 250,000 pounds of supplies over the course of a couple trips, on a 747. We received Cargo from New Jersey, Houston, Maryland, Orlando, Jessup, GA. Included in the supplies being brought over, 5 generators. 1 going to a hospital, 2 to food banks feeding many municipalities, and the rest to pump water into the mountains. <br /><br /><strong>This was the biggest concentration of industrial generators together with medicine and food.</strong><br /><br />While we were there, we visited Regazo de Paz an orpahage with about 15 children under the age of 5.  Regazo de Paz's vision is to provide battered, abused, abandoned children and/or victims of domestic violence; with a home where their basic needs are met, offering them in the proper environment for the healthy development of their character.<br /><br />Regazo de Paz has recieved no aid or support and need tremendous help for the sake of the children. Basic needs like water to drink, food, medical are depleted. <br /><br />We currently have <strong>3 million </strong> more pounds of supplies needing to go to the west coast of Puerto Rico and the surrounding municipalities. Marti Napiers Memorial 

October 3rd 2016, we got a phone call no kid dreams of getting. My dad passed away at the age of 45. He leaves behind 2 Sons Jaron and Matt, 3 daughters Alison Joye , Alyssa , and 5 grandchildren Aniyah Aivah Avanah Ayda and Liam. He also leaves behind his younger sister michelle. Lots of family and friends.! His brother was murdered 7 years ago and his mother also deceased. Our goal is to allow him to rest in paradise and be buried with his brother and mother. Anything would help us. Thank you from the deepest part of our hearts. RIP Dad .. <div>On the morning of Sunday, December 7, the very last time Emma (11), Noah (8), and JJ (4) saw their dad, they thought it was just another visit to the hospital. They hugged him, talked to him, and told him they loved him. None of them knew they were saying goodbye for the last time.
</div>
<div>The very next morning, on December 8, at just 31 years old, James Falley took his last breath.
</div>
<div>James had been fighting every single day for two months to get back home to his wife, Brooke, and their three children. He wanted one thing more than anything else: to be a dad again in his own house, not in a hospital room.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Fight</strong>
</div>
<div>James went into the hospital in September. What started as a battle for his health escalated to him relying on two heart support machines and kidney dialysis. There were long nights and scary moments, but James was a warrior.
</div>
<div>When his physical therapist asked him to stand for one minute, James pushed for a minute and twenty seconds. That was who he was. If there was a way to give more, he gave more. Even after blood clots caused multiple strokes and took the movement on his left side, he would still lift his right arm to shake a hand or throw up a peace sign to let us know he was still with us.
</div>

<div><strong>The Goodbye</strong>
</div>
<div>The plan was for James to get strong enough for a heart and kidney transplant. But the clots were too deep, and the damage was too severe. When the doctors said there was nothing left to do, James asked for one last meal: a steak from NYY and three dirty Dr Peppers.
</div>
<div>He never made it to that meal. On Monday morning, before visiting hours, his father rushed to his side, placed James’s Mets hat on his head, and held his hand as he passed. James opened his eyes one last time, surrounded by love.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>The Crisis</strong>
</div>
<div>Now, the machines are quiet, and the silence left behind is deafening.
</div>
<div>James was the primary provider for his family. He had recently taken a leap of faith to start his own business helping small companies with their marketing. Because he was self-employed and just starting out, the family does not have the safety net of corporate benefits or paid leave.
</div>
<div>Brooke, who drove 2.5 hours each way daily to be with James while keeping life together for the kids, is now facing a terrifying reality.
</div>
<div>There is no pause button for grief.
</div>
<div>The mortgage company, the car lender, and the utility companies still expect to be paid. Brooke is suddenly a widowed mother of three, trying to navigate funeral arrangements and broken hearts while facing the immediate threat of financial collapse.
</div>
