<div>On May 30, my son Jacob was working his shift at McDonald's, where he has been a loyal and dedicated employee for several years. What should have been a normal day at work turned into a nightmare when a coworker assaulted him by throwing hot oil on him.

<div>Jacob suffered severe second-degree burns to his face, arm, and back. He was rushed for medical treatment and will be spending time in the hospital as doctors work to help him heal. He now faces a long and painful recovery process that will include ongoing medical care, treatments, and time away from work.

<div>At just 20 years old, Jacob has worked hard to build a future for himself. He is engaged to be married and has always been responsible, hardworking, and committed to those he loves. This unexpected tragedy has created a major setback at a time when he should be looking forward to building his life and planning his future.

<div>On Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 8:50 AM, Stanislav Bebikh peacefully entered eternity, surrounded by the love of his family. Stanislav was 76 years old — a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, a man of deep faith, quiet strength, and impeccable integrity.

<div>He was a man who measured wealth not by material possessions, but by the character of one’s heart. Honest, hardworking, selfless, and a true servant of God, he dedicated a significant part of his life to faithful service in the church, never seeking recognition — only striving to sincerely love others and live a life that reflected his faith.

</div>
<div>Family was everything to him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He deeply loved his wife, treasured his children and grandchildren, and carried his entire large family in his heart. He prayed for his loved ones faithfully and consistently, calling each one by name. His love was steady, gentle, and deeply felt.

<div>In March, our world changed when our father was diagnosed with cancer.
</div>

</div>
<div>As his family — his children, grandchildren, and our mother — we continually lifted him up in prayer and fasting. We trusted in God’s will, but at the same time, we longed for more time with him. We sought medical help and did everything we could to support our father, hoping and believing we might be blessed with more time together.

<div>But God had a different plan.

<div>On the morning of May 16, our beloved father, whom we loved so dearly, took his final breath on earth — and his first breath in heaven, in the arms of Jesus.

<div>As we grieve this tremendous loss, we humbly ask for support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as to provide comfort and stability for his wife — the woman he loved with all his heart. Честный, трудолюбивый, самоотверженный, истинный служитель Божий , который посвятил значительную часть своей жизни верному служению в церкви, никогда не ища признания – стремясь лишь искренне любить ближних и прожить жизнь которая была бы живым отражением его веры. Семья была для него всем ! Он глубоко любил свою жену, дорожил детьми и внуками, неустанно молился за всех, всегда носил в своем сердце всю свою большую семью. Он всегда молился за своих близких называя каждого по именам – постоянно верно и неизменно. Его любовь была надёжной, тихой и глубоко прочувствованной. В марте наш мир изменился папе был поставлен диагноз – рак Мы его семья - дети, внуки и наша мама непрестанно возносили молитвы и посты за него. Мы доверились воле Божией но в то же самое время нам хотелось что бы папа ещё остался с нами и поэтому мы обращались к врачам за помощью, старались сделать все возможное чтобы помочь нашему папе, надеясь и веря что нам будет даровано ещё немного времени. Но у Бога был иной план! Утром 16 мая наш папа которого мы горячо любили сделал свой последний вздох на земле – и свой первый вздох на небесах в объятиях Иисуса! Переживая эту утрату, мы смиренно просим о поддержке, чтобы покрыть расходы на похороны и поминальные мероприятия, а также чтобы принести утешение и чувство стабильности его супруге – женщине, которые он любил всем сердцем. My treatment included the removal of the affected bone, a bone cement graft, three titanium plates, and screws, followed by a long and painful <strong>eight-month recovery with physical therapy.</strong>

Zach is a selfless, hard-working man who will give you the shirt off his back, he is a loving, caring and providing father and husband. He came to America to provide a better life and education for his family. Many depend on Zach to put food on their table and get them by with day to day necessities. Sadly, since August 19, 2024 Zach has been in the hospital in ICU under critical condition with brain bleeding and is unable to move the left side of his body. <div>On Thursday, April 13, 2023, my nephew Ralph P Yarl was on his way to pick up his twin younger brothers from their friend's house a few blocks away from his house. He didn't have his phone. He mistakenly went to the wrong house, one block away from the house where his siblings were. He pulled into the driveway and rang the doorbell. The man in the home opened the door, looked my nephew in the eye, and shot him in the head. My nephew fell to the ground, and the man shot him again. Ralph was then able to get up and run to the neighbor's house, looking for help.

<div>Unfortunately, he had to run to 3 different homes before someone finally agreed to help him after he was told to lie on the ground with his hands up.
</div>

<div>Ralph Pual Yarl is a fantastic kid, and I am not just saying this because he is my nephew. He truly is. At school, he is a member of the Technology Student Association and Science Olympia Team. Jazz and competition band. He is a section leader in the marching band; a scholar and one of the top bass clarinet players in Missouri. He recently earned Missouri All-State Band recognition with an honorable mention. He plays multiple instruments in the metropolitan youth orchestra. He is a 2022 Missouri scholar academy alumni. Ralph can often be found with a musical instrument. He loves them all.

<div>Last summer, Ralph attended Missouri Scholar’s Academy, where he got a full college life experience. His goal is to attend Texas A&amp;M to major in chemical Engineering. When asked how he plans to get into this university, he said, “Well, if they have a scholarship for music or academics, I know I can get it.”

<div>Ralph's teacher and friends describe him as “ a kind soul,” “quiet,” “friendly,” “well-mannered,” “always willing to help,” “super smart,” and a “musical genius.”

<div>Ralph was looking forward to graduating high school and finally getting the opportunity to visit West Africa before starting college.
</div>

<div>Life looks a lot different right now. Even though he is doing well physically, he has a long road ahead mentally and emotionally. The trauma that he has to endure and survive is unimaginable. He is our miracle. We have heard these types of stories many times, and unfortunately, most black boys are not alive to get another chance.

<div>Ralph deserves to have the future that he has dreams about. He deserves to be the light that shows the world that LOVE wins and that humanity is still Good.

<div>Our friend lost his home to an unexpected house fire Sunday morning. The fire was sudden and happened quickly. Everyone is safe, but unfortunately they were unable to salvage his belongings.

<div>As some of you know, in June of 2022, my uncle, Keith Haase was diagnosed with cancer. It appears to have started in his lungs but had metastasized to his bones and brain by the time it was found. Once discovered, he was treated with radiation in addition to starting an immunotherapy drug that was supposed to give him a good chance to have a quality of life for a decent period of time.

<div>Then in July, Keith suffered a stroke as a result of pressure from a tumor in his skull, that left him with severe weakness in his arms and legs. After several weeks recovering in the hospital in Omaha and several more working to rehabilitate at Madonna in Omaha, he was back home and had regained majority use of his hands/arms and was getting around ok with a walker.

<div>At this point, it appeared his tumors were remaining the same and/or shrinking and we were under the impression that we were back on track; however, his pain was unbearable and not being managed and nobody could figure out why.
</div>

</div>
<div>The last week of December, Keith was taken to Omaha, where doctors discovered that the cancer had severely metastasized to his spine. At this point, operation was not a possibility, and paralysis appeared to be unavoidable. While at the hospital he did five rounds of radiation, to try to help alleviate some of his pain; however, he has now lost almost all use of his arms and legs.

</div>
<div>As a result, it is not possible for him to be cared for by hospice at his home in Norfolk. There are just too many things needed in order to keep him comfortable and well cared for. The decision was made that he would move to a hospice house in Omaha. With this decision, a large portion of the daily cost of staying at a hospice house will not be covered by Medicare or insurance. 
</div>

</div>
<div>Anything to help alleviate the financial burden of the family in the midst of such an unfortunate situation is much appreciated. Those that know him, know what a selfless, loving, hilarious, ornery, God loving man he is. We are wishing him peace and comfort in this journey.

<div>On January 8th, our friend Andrew 14 years old suffered a serious dirt-bike accident. He lost control of his bike and flew over the handlebars hitting a tree at full speed causing a collapsed lung, difficulty breathing and the inability to feel his legs. He was life-flighted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Decatur where he remains in critical condition in the ICU, fighting for his life over the past several days. Scans showed he broke several ribs in addition to bruising and damage to his lungs requiring a ventilator/machine to help him breathe. He has also suffered a high spinal cord injury leaving him paralyzed with no feeling or ability to move his body from his chest down currently. Andrew underwent surgery to stabilize his spine in addition to multiple other procedures in the ICU for his other injuries. He is still in the ICU recovering and requiring constant care. After he leaves the ICU he will need extensive rehabilitation at a specialized rehabilitation center to start the process of recovery and work to regain his strength, movement and sensation. His parents-Arlete (mom) and Wisley (dad), friends and family are in shock and disbelief after what just transpired. Any amount you can donate will be a huge help to Andrew and his parents-Arlete and Wisley to take the next steps forward. It is going to be a long journey with many obstacles to overcome. Jacqueline will have a very difficult and long road ahead through surgeries, various therapies, and the everlasting trauma of this attack.

Jacqueline Durand Nearly Killed in Dog Mauling

<div>Each year, dedicated physical therapy students travel to a small town in the Dominican Republic to volunteer their time and clinical services to the community. Our class is currently in our third and final year of physical therapy school and has been given the opportunity to go on a service learning trip to the Dominican Republic. This year, 11 students along with faculty members will work closely with Dominican partners, seeing patients in local clinics and in-home visits and learning about the culture and history of the Dominican Republic. Throughout the week, we will diligently work from sunrise until late into the evening and learn an immeasurable amount about providing physical therapy and public health interventions in a developing country with little to no resources. This trip will not only be providing services to the communities we will be visiting, but will also be giving the students immensely valuable interpersonal communication skills working alongside experienced physical therapists, doctors, and other professionals, as well as sharpening our Spanish language skills.

Katie Gone too Soon

<p>This morning around 3:00am on Lawrenceville Highway, Hiro was hit by a car. Hiro’s primary form of transportation was electric bike. The driver of the car fled the scene and several other cars just continued to drive past Hiro as he laid on the pavement bleeding and in severe pain. Nobody stopped to help him. Luckily, he managed to call 911 and the ambulance took him to the ER. He has several staples on his head, broken teeth, a broken hip and road rash on various places of his body. He is scheduled to receive surgery to repair his broken hip.

<p>Hiro and I have been together for over 3 years. I started this gofundme hoping to raise money for his medical bills etc. Hiro does not have medical insurance. <p>Update 4:28pm 06/14/21 - The procedure involved placing 1 metal plate and 5 screws into the right side of his pelvis. The nurse estimated that recovery time could be anywhere between 2 and 3 months. Hiro expressed to me his gratitude and deep feelings of love. He said he didn’t realize how many people actually care about him. We are both so thankful for the overwhelming support from everyone including the police officer, the EMS and the hospital staff. He told me that he wants to do something special for each and everyone who has been supportive during these hard times.

<p>Jennifer Watson was in her house listening to music when she heard her dogs barking like never before. When she went outside to see what was going on she heard a frantic yell for help. A family was stranded in the middle of South Lake. While on a fishing outing their boat took on water and sank. Fully clothed, dad was struggling to get his 4 year old son to the shore. When Jennifer saw what was happening she did not hesitate, jumping into the water and keeping her eye on the family, she swam out to the middle of the lake and helped the little boy get to shore with a very grateful dad following behind. Once on shore Jennifer’s brother Johnny, found clothes and blankets to give the cold and tired men as well as chance to catch their breath.

<p>This is just the tip of the iceberg.  Jennifer is a hero everyday, helping her mom who has MS and is wheelchair bound.  Everyday Jennifer helps her mom to her chair, feeds her, bathes her, makes sure she takes her medication, and is just there for her.  If mom has an itch, it’s Jennifer who scratches it.  She has chosen to go to school locally and works her schooling around her mom’s care.  Jenn is studying to be a nurse at school but she brings with her the compassion she has learned from her mom who tries to stay positive everyday and keep their family together.<br /><br />I feel so very lucky to know this amazing young woman.  A real life hero.

Hi everyone, <br />I am asking for your assistance for my two-year-old son. Before the age of one, his pediatrician considered him advanced for his age, with all his milestones, and how he would engage in speech. That all came to an end when he received his one-year vaccinations.  <br /><br />The same day of his vaccine he developed a fever, I didn't think anything of it since that was normal. But when it peaked to 104 degrees, I was really scared. I quickly took my son Kaiser to his pediatrician and was informed he had dual ear infections. He was given antibiotics. I thought great in 10 days he will be fine. Boy how wrong I was. Six weeks and three different antibiotics later my son's ear infections ceased. But he was never the same. He completely stopped talking. I reported my concerns to pediatrician.  <br /><br />After reporting my sons speech issues to his doctors I was brushed aside. They did not take my concerns for my son seriously. After doing a speech evaluation with a speech therapist I was told that his speech had regressed but there was nothing they could do since it was not as bad. They would not help my son until his condition was more extreme. They would not do anything to prevent his speech from further deterioration. Now my son is two years old and his speech has completely ceased.<br /><br />After a recommended evaluation it turns out he received a brain injury. A result  of the high fevers due to the vaccine he received.  In order to reverse the inflammation in his brain, and he needs 40 sessions of Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. The cost is more than I can handle.  Insurance does not cover the 40 therapy  sessions of a total of $10,000. After contacting the manufacturer directly they are willing to give Kaiser a chamber with the oxygen concentrator for $6,000. <br /><br />This is where I need your help. I have been fighting for my son for the past two years and I will not stop. I am asking if you can find it in your heart to please help my son get this much needed treatment.  No amount is too small. <br />Thank you.

Tonight in Atlanta, GA around 9:30pm, Messiah Young and Taniyah Pilgrim were wrongfully stopped and disrespected by Atlanta Police Department on their way home. An alert about a 9pm curfew enforcement was sent to Atlanta residents at approximately 9:13pm. Police stopped them, broke the window to their car, tazed them, tackled them and arrested them. Two current Morehouse and Spelman students!!!! Help us get them out of jail. They did not deserve to be treated like this. SHARE!!!

On Dec 20, 2019 my mother passed away unexpectedly. She suffered from seizures and the details still are unclear why, our family dog attacked my mother while having a seizure. Our family is devastated, my sisters life was taken from her. After ongoing domestic violence, abuse and being released on bail, my brother in law decided to take my sisters life into his own hands. With my mother, sister and three kids in the car he shot through the front windshield and drivers side. My mother was shot three times and my sister did not make it. The road the children have ahead of them is not an easy one.  My sister was a warrior, she fought for our country, she made people laugh and brightened every room she went into.  She was a mother, a sister, a daughter, a veteran and did not deserve to go this way. My brother in law ran from the cops and then shot himself in the head. Leaving my nieces and nephew with no parents. My mother was rushed into surgery and had operations done on both her hands and arms and my mothers worst nightmare is realized; she has to burry her eldest daughter. My sister Janice and I vow to protect, support and nurture these children for the rest of our lives. Medical bills, planning a service and getting my sisters body from Washington State to New York is a long and difficult process.  We want her to be with us, near us and we want to keep her memory alive. We need to buy seven plane tickets in order to get back to New York along with packing important belongings for the kids and getting everything across the country.  This journey will not be easy, it will be emotionally, physically, mentally and financially draining, but with all the love and support we can try to give these children the best lives we possibly can. I know most of you have heard about Deanna's shocking medical diagnosis. We wanted to start a fundraising campaign to help her through this difficult time. The medical bills add up quickly and is the last thing you want to worry about when you're sick. I know it will take some stress off of her and the family to have this support. She will be starting treatment soon and we don't know if she will be able to work through this process. The funds will help her with everyday expenses and medical treatment. Please support the family of Luna and Phoenix Rodriguez<br /><br />On Friday, July 26th, the lives of 1-year-old twins Luna and Phoenix Rodriguez were tragically cut short due to an unfortunate accident.  As Marissa, Juan, and their family attempt to process this unconscionable nightmare, we kindly ask for your love and support.  Life will never be the same for them.  Beyond being completely devastated and heart-broken, the road ahead is a difficult one, between funeral arrangements, the media frenzy preventing them from returning home, home and legal expenses, and lost wages. <br /><br />Juan Rodriguez is a loving father and a dedicated husband, with a relentless drive to improve the lives of his family and community. A disabled veteran, as well as a social worker for the VA Hospital in the Bronx; he has first-hand knowledge of how traumatic experiences can impact lives. He has helped countless veterans with their daily lives and has served as a liaison between veterans, and outside agencies that work closely with the VA hospital. He has dedicated his life to public service, positively affecting thousands of lives. Juan is an honest and hard-working man. A man who now has to deal with the same type of traumatic loss that he has helped others cope with in the past.<br /><br />The Rodriguez family suffered a tragic loss yesterday in this unfortunate case of what is known as Forgotten Baby Syndrome, where parents accidentally forget about a child and leave them in their vehicle while performing daily tasks and routines. Parents often think that their child is in a safe place, like daycare or at home. It has become a reoccurrence across the country, and unfortunately, it happened on July 26th, while Juan worked in the VA hospital in the Bronx; a shift he has done nearly every day, to support his family and children.  <br /><br />This incident was a heartbreaking accident that has impacted the entire family. We are asking for your support, to help them get through this horrible and dark moment, and to find peace during this nightmare. The family seeks to mourn together and be reunited, while they begin to tackle the impossible task of going on with their lives.
