I'm raising funds for my brother after a motorcycle accident left him in the hospital fighting for his life.
<br>
<br>
 This has been an incredibly painful and urgent time for our family. Right now, our focus is on being there for him and hoping for his recovery, but we also need help with the medical bills that are already building up.
<br>
<br>
 The funds from this fundraiser will go toward covering his medical expenses and helping with the immediate financial pressure while he remains in the hospital. We need help right away.
<br>
<br>
 If you are able to give, any donation would mean so much to my brother and our family during this critical time. If you cannot donate, please sharing this fundraiser would still help us tremendously. Thank you for your support.

<div><strong>Help My Son Jacob Recover After a Devastating Workplace Assault</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On May 30, my son Jacob was working his shift at McDonald's, where he has been a loyal and dedicated employee for several years. What should have been a normal day at work turned into a nightmare when a coworker assaulted him by throwing hot oil on him.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Jacob suffered severe second-degree burns to his face, arm, and back. He was rushed for medical treatment and will be spending time in the hospital as doctors work to help him heal. He now faces a long and painful recovery process that will include ongoing medical care, treatments, and time away from work.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>At just 20 years old, Jacob has worked hard to build a future for himself. He is engaged to be married and has always been responsible, hardworking, and committed to those he loves. This unexpected tragedy has created a major setback at a time when he should be looking forward to building his life and planning his future.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While Jacob focuses on healing, he will be unable to work and earn an income. The financial burden of lost wages, everyday living expenses, transportation, and recovery-related costs will continue to grow in the weeks and months ahead.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As his mother, it broke my heart when he looked at me and said, "Why would he do this to me?" I want to help him not have to worry about day-to-day finances and how to make ends meet, but instead be able to focus on his recovery. <strong>Any donation, no matter the size, will help relieve some of the financial stress and allow Jacob to focus on what matters most right now: healing.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Funds raised will help with:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Rent and housing expenses

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Utilities and essential bills

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Groceries and daily living costs

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Transportation to medical appointments

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Lost income during recovery

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Medical and recovery-related expenses

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others. Every share, prayer, and kind word means more than you know.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Jacob has a long road ahead, but he is strong, and we know that with the support of family, friends, and our community, he can get through this difficult chapter.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, kindness, and prayers.

Standing with Jacob Through His Recovery

<div>In Loving Memory of Stanislav Bebikh — A Life of Faith, Strength, and Love
</div>
<div>On Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 8:50 AM, Stanislav Bebikh peacefully entered eternity, surrounded by the love of his family. Stanislav was 76 years old — a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, a man of deep faith, quiet strength, and impeccable integrity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He was a man who measured wealth not by material possessions, but by the character of one’s heart. Honest, hardworking, selfless, and a true servant of God, he dedicated a significant part of his life to faithful service in the church, never seeking recognition — only striving to sincerely love others and live a life that reflected his faith.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Family was everything to him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He deeply loved his wife, treasured his children and grandchildren, and carried his entire large family in his heart. He prayed for his loved ones faithfully and consistently, calling each one by name. His love was steady, gentle, and deeply felt.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In March, our world changed when our father was diagnosed with cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As his family — his children, grandchildren, and our mother — we continually lifted him up in prayer and fasting. We trusted in God’s will, but at the same time, we longed for more time with him. We sought medical help and did everything we could to support our father, hoping and believing we might be blessed with more time together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But God had a different plan.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On the morning of May 16, our beloved father, whom we loved so dearly, took his final breath on earth — and his first breath in heaven, in the arms of Jesus.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As we grieve this tremendous loss, we humbly ask for support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as to provide comfort and stability for his wife — the woman he loved with all his heart. Your support will allow our family to honor his memory with the beautiful and dignified farewell he so deeply deserves, while helping ease the financial burden during this incredibly painful time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If Stanislav ever touched your life through his kindness, faith, wisdom, or his quiet and honorable example, we would be deeply grateful for any support, prayers, or simply for sharing this page.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More than anything, we want to give him the beautiful farewell he deserves and surround his beloved wife — our mother — with the love, care, and support she needs during this difficult season.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Though our hearts are broken, they are also filled with peace, because we know our father is in heaven with Jesus, whom he loved with all his heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for supporting our family with your love, prayers, compassion, and generosity during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

From Burger King to A College Dream

<div>Hello, my dear supporter,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Zayra Terrero, and today, I come to you with an open heart, seeking your help in raising funds for <strong>a non-conventional distal femur and knee prosthesis</strong>—a life-changing necessity for me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let me share a bit of my journey with you. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in my femur. At that time, I underwent extensive procedures—<strong>biopsy, imaging studies, nuclear scans</strong>—all confirming the devastating diagnosis. The pain and swelling made it nearly impossible for me to move. My treatment included the removal of the affected bone, a bone cement graft, three titanium plates, and screws, followed by a long and painful <strong>eight-month recovery with physical therapy.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85741945_1737085461339793_r." width="100%" />

</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85741945_1737085159923138_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85741945_1737085430399759_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, two years later, my world has been shaken once again. <strong>The same giant cell tumor</strong> <strong>has returned</strong>, even more aggressive and widespread. This time, my femur and part of my knee will need to be <strong>completely removed and replaced with a prosthesi</strong>s, allowing me to regain mobility. I will also have to undergo chemotherapy treatment to fight this battle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What makes this even more challenging is that I am now a <strong>first-time mother to a beautiful 4-month-old baby.</strong> My greatest wish is to be able to <strong>hold my child</strong>, <strong>take those first steps together, and embrace life fully</strong>. But in my country, this high-cost procedure <strong>is not covered by medical insurance</strong>, leaving me in a desperate situation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, I am unable to work, and my husband and family are doing everything they can to support me, but the costs for the <strong>prosthesis, surgery, and hospital stay are overwhelming</strong>. That’s why I turn to you with <strong>hope in my heart.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Every donation, every share, every act of kindness brings me closer to the chance of walking again and being there for my baby.</strong> If you cannot donate, please consider <strong>sharing my story</strong>—it could reach someone who can help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey with me. Your generosity means the world.

<div>Support Daniel in His Battle for Recovery After Emergency Brain Surgery

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Life can change in an instant. On December 7, 2024, our beloved friend, brother, and business owner of Little Tokyo Nikkei Cuisine, faced a sudden, life-threatening emergency — a complex and unexpected brain surgery that left his family, friends, and business community in shock. Daniel is not just a business owner; he is the heart, soul, and backbone of Little Tokyo, a place that many of us call our second home.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For those who know Daniel, you know him as a hardworking, generous, and dedicated person who gives his all to his family, restaurant, friends, and community. Little Tokyo is NOT just a business — it’s a reflection of his passion, perseverance, and love for his work and community. He shows up every day with a smile, ready to serve others, never asking for anything in return. But today, he’s the one who needs us.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On December 7, 2024, Daniel was rushed to the hospital for emergency brain surgery after doctors discovered a critical condition that could not be delayed. The procedure was intense, and while we are grateful that he is still with us, his road to recovery is long and uncertain. He now faces a journey filled with post-surgery treatment, medical care, and rehabilitation.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While Daniel fights to regain his health, the financial burden on his restaurant and family is growing. Brain surgery is one of the most complex and costly medical procedures, and the hospital bills, post-surgical care, and ongoing treatment are overwhelming. As the main provider for his family and the leader of Little Tokyo Sushi Nikkei, his absence from work has deeply affected his family’s financial stability and the daily operations of his beloved business.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This is why we are asking for your help.

</div>

<div>We are coming together as family, friends, and community members to lift up Daniel and ensure he receives the care and support he needs to recover fully. Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

</div>

<div>•	Hospital fees and surgery costs

</div>

<div>•	Post-operative medical care and rehabilitation

</div>

<div>•	Support for his restaurant while he is unable to work

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>How You Can Help?

</div>

<div>If you’ve ever visited Little Tokyo, shared a meal there, or simply know Daniel as a kind, hardworking soul, now is your chance to give back. No contribution is too small — every dollar makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, we understand. Please help us by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and community.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Together, we can provide Daniel with the support, love ❤️ and strength he needs to recover. He has shown up for us for few years, and now it’s our turn to show up for him.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Let’s come together for Daniel

</div>

<div>and Little Tokyo Sushi Nikkei.

<div><strong>Help Maria Rebuild After a Devastating Flood</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the news that <strong>Maria has suffered a devastating loss due to a severe flood</strong> that recently hit her home in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in Atlanta. The floodwaters caused extensive damage, destroying nearly everything inside, including furniture, appliances, cherished personal belongings, and even the structural integrity of the house.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The costs of repairs, replacing lost items, and securing temporary housing are enormous, and unfortunately, insurance will not cover all the damage. Maria’s a very important part of our little community, so let’s make sure we can assist her as much as possible to recover from this as soon as possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How You Can Help:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for your help to raise funds to support Maria during this incredibly challenging time. Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards:
</div>
<div>- Replacing essential items lost in the flood
</div>
<div>- Covering temporary living expenses
</div>
<div>- Any additional costs to help Maria rebuild her life
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Your Support Means the World:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your kindness and generosity will not only help rebuild a home but also restore hope during this difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. Every share helps us get closer to our goal.

<div>This is Zakaria El Sherif, better known as Zach to most friends and customers unfortunately on August 19, 2024 while Zach was working his late night shift at a local pizzeria on fifth Avenue in Manhattan He was viciously attacked and mauled by a pitbull and its owner. Zach is a selfless, hard-working man who will give you the shirt off his back, he is a loving, caring and providing father and husband. He came to America to provide a better life and education for his family. Many depend on Zach to put food on their table and get them by with day to day necessities. Sadly, since August 19, 2024 Zach has been in the hospital in ICU under critical condition with brain bleeding and is unable to move the left side of his body. We hope that you can help make a difference by supporting his family for better days to come and we wish Zach a healthy, and speedy recovery.

<div>Hi, my name is Mr. Sorto, and if you know who I am, it's because you've seen my exceptional students dancing on <a href="https://facebook.com/mrsortosclass" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Facebook</a>, <a href="https://instagram.com/mr.sortosclass" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Instagram</a>, <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@mrsortosclass" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TikTok</a>, or maybe <a href="https://remezcla.com/features/culture/kindergarten-students-salsa-kipp-dc/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">on the news</a>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When our team travels, we make sure that our students do more than just perform. We take dance classes with other dance professionals; we visit colleges and universities that we might want to attend in the future, and we participate in local cultural and artistic events to broaden our horizons.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>All this is made possible by your generosity. </strong>We never want Estrellitas to feel that finances are an obstacle to dancing or seeing the world. That is why all their training and travel are provided at no cost to their families. Your generous donations support travel expenses (food, lodging, and transportation) and costuming expenses (new outfits and shoes) for the children who are part of this opportunity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For example last summer, we received the invitation of a lifetime - to dance at <a href="https://www.jacobspillow.org/about/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Jacob's Pillow</a>. Jacob's Pillow is a treasured 220-acre National Historic Landmark, a recipient of the prestigious National Medal of Arts, and home to America’s longest-running international dance festival. Most dancers wait a lifetime to perform at "The Pillow". We feel so fortunate that our students had the opportunity to do this before they're even teenagers. Thanks to our fans, we got to take class in Boston, visit Harvard University in Cambridge, and bring the house down at our performance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you in advance for your support! We'll see you on the dance floor!

<div>It's with the heaviest of hearts that I am sharing the passing of Brittany Georgetti yesterday, August 14, 2024. Clay and their children were by her side. The cancer, that ended up being an aggressive and invasive form of Melanoma, reached a stage of non-operable and her body eventually rejected all life-saving medications.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many of you have reached out asking how you can help. At this time, all donations to this Go Fund Me will support Clay and their children's future without Brittany.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A service will be held on Sunday, August 25. More details will follow via email.

<div>Hi. Many of you know beloved Farmhouse server Clay Webb who has been with Serenbe for over 7 years. His partner, Brittany became manager of Halsa in September 2023 and quickly made vast improvements at one of our favorite places to "be." Unfortunately, in December 2023, Brittany became ill with an unknown medical diagnosis. She pushed herself everyday to continue working and smiling, but early this month received the news that she has non-Hodgkins Lymphoma that has also aggressively spread throughout her body and is now affecting her brain, heart, and lungs. While Serenbe is covering her medical insurance at this time, she is no longer able to work and as of today, was admitted to Emory after suffering a seizure this morning. Clay's foreseeable future, is the care of Brittany and their kids. Please consider donating to this Serenbe family that we all know and love. Your donations will help ease the burden of medical co-pays, mortgage payments, and general life expenses.

</div>
<div>Hello everybody,

</div>
<div>On behalf of Ralph and our entire family, thank you so much for your generosity. It has warmed our souls during an incredibly difficult time. Of course we never anticipated so much support for Ralph, but we wanted you to know that we are working with a certified financial advisor to establish a Trust to properly receive the funds and use them for all of the original purposes we described. All funds will be used for Ralph's benefit, as his well-being and safety is our highest priority. Right now we will continue to focus on Ralph's recovery, but in the future we are considering setting up a charity.

</div>
<div>Again, thank you so much for your support.
</div>

</div>
<div>***Update on Ralph***
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ralph is currently at home with the family. He can ambulate and communicate. A true miracle considering what he survived.
</div>
<div>Each day is different. He has a long road ahead. However, we are very thankful that he is still here with us. I've been taking the time to read the emails and comments to Ralph. It warms our hearts to see him smile at all the kind words.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for loving Ralph

</div>
<div>On Thursday, April 13, 2023, my nephew Ralph P Yarl was on his way to pick up his twin younger brothers from their friend's house a few blocks away from his house. He didn't have his phone. He mistakenly went to the wrong house, one block away from the house where his siblings were. He pulled into the driveway and rang the doorbell. The man in the home opened the door, looked my nephew in the eye, and shot him in the head. My nephew fell to the ground, and the man shot him again. Ralph was then able to get up and run to the neighbor's house, looking for help.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, he had to run to 3 different homes before someone finally agreed to help him after he was told to lie on the ground with his hands up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ralph Pual Yarl is a fantastic kid, and I am not just saying this because he is my nephew. He truly is. At school, he is a member of the Technology Student Association and Science Olympia Team. Jazz and competition band. He is a section leader in the marching band; a scholar and one of the top bass clarinet players in Missouri. He recently earned Missouri All-State Band recognition with an honorable mention. He plays multiple instruments in the metropolitan youth orchestra. He is a 2022 Missouri scholar academy alumni. Ralph can often be found with a musical instrument. He loves them all.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last summer, Ralph attended Missouri Scholar’s Academy, where he got a full college life experience. His goal is to attend Texas A&amp;M to major in chemical Engineering. When asked how he plans to get into this university, he said, “Well, if they have a scholarship for music or academics, I know I can get it.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ralph's teacher and friends describe him as “ a kind soul,” “quiet,” “friendly,” “well-mannered,” “always willing to help,” “super smart,” and a “musical genius.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ralph was looking forward to graduating high school and finally getting the opportunity to visit West Africa before starting college.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Life looks a lot different right now. Even though he is doing well physically, he has a long road ahead mentally and emotionally. The trauma that he has to endure and survive is unimaginable. He is our miracle. We have heard these types of stories many times, and unfortunately, most black boys are not alive to get another chance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ralph deserves to have the future that he has dreams about. He deserves to be the light that shows the world that LOVE wins and that humanity is still Good.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, he will need a lot of help to get there. Funds from this account will be used for his medical bills and therapy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any additional funds will be use for college expenses at Texas A&amp;M, a trip to West Africa, and other expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you
</div>

<div>Our friend lost his home to an unexpected house fire Sunday morning. The fire was sudden and happened quickly. Everyone is safe, but unfortunately they were unable to salvage his belongings.

<div>As some of you know, in June of 2022, my uncle, Keith Haase was diagnosed with cancer. It appears to have started in his lungs but had metastasized to his bones and brain by the time it was found. Once discovered, he was treated with radiation in addition to starting an immunotherapy drug that was supposed to give him a good chance to have a quality of life for a decent period of time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then in July, Keith suffered a stroke as a result of pressure from a tumor in his skull, that left him with severe weakness in his arms and legs. After several weeks recovering in the hospital in Omaha and several more working to rehabilitate at Madonna in Omaha, he was back home and had regained majority use of his hands/arms and was getting around ok with a walker.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At this point, it appeared his tumors were remaining the same and/or shrinking and we were under the impression that we were back on track; however, his pain was unbearable and not being managed and nobody could figure out why.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The last week of December, Keith was taken to Omaha, where doctors discovered that the cancer had severely metastasized to his spine. At this point, operation was not a possibility, and paralysis appeared to be unavoidable. While at the hospital he did five rounds of radiation, to try to help alleviate some of his pain; however, he has now lost almost all use of his arms and legs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a result, it is not possible for him to be cared for by hospice at his home in Norfolk. There are just too many things needed in order to keep him comfortable and well cared for. The decision was made that he would move to a hospice house in Omaha. With this decision, a large portion of the daily cost of staying at a hospice house will not be covered by Medicare or insurance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anything to help alleviate the financial burden of the family in the midst of such an unfortunate situation is much appreciated. Those that know him, know what a selfless, loving, hilarious, ornery, God loving man he is. We are wishing him peace and comfort in this journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donations will be used to help pay for any medical bills and hospice care that is required but not covered by insurance, and any other bills and expenses that come Sue’s way associated with Keith’s diagnosis.

<div>On January 8th, our friend Andrew 14 years old suffered a serious dirt-bike accident. He lost control of his bike and flew over the handlebars hitting a tree at full speed causing a collapsed lung, difficulty breathing and the inability to feel his legs. He was life-flighted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Decatur where he remains in critical condition in the ICU, fighting for his life over the past several days. Scans showed he broke several ribs in addition to bruising and damage to his lungs requiring a ventilator/machine to help him breathe. He has also suffered a high spinal cord injury leaving him paralyzed with no feeling or ability to move his body from his chest down currently. Andrew underwent surgery to stabilize his spine in addition to multiple other procedures in the ICU for his other injuries. He is still in the ICU recovering and requiring constant care. After he leaves the ICU he will need extensive rehabilitation at a specialized rehabilitation center to start the process of recovery and work to regain his strength, movement and sensation. His parents-Arlete (mom) and Wisley (dad), friends and family are in shock and disbelief after what just transpired. Any amount you can donate will be a huge help to Andrew and his parents-Arlete and Wisley to take the next steps forward. It is going to be a long journey with many obstacles to overcome. We hope for a miracle and that God will help Andrew recover. Please continue praying for Andrew, and his family and a miracle.

</div>

<div><span>I’m Julia Cole, country artist and family friend of the Durand’s. Through virtual benefit concert’s to be planned and this GoFundMe we want to help Jacqueline as much as we can. Barreca, Jacqueline’s sister, and I are hosting this page.</span><span>  </span>

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Jacqueline Durand, 22 year-old from Coppell, Texas, was planning to graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas in May 2023. While in school, she started her own pet sitting business, Paw Paradise. As a lifelong dog lover, this entrepreneurial venture was a dream come true for her.

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>Devastatingly, during her last assignment, on December 23, 2021, she was viciously attacked and mauled by 2 dogs and remains hospitalized. Jacqueline has hundreds of bites all over her body, however the most severe damage was done to her face. While being mauled, she lost both ears, her nose, her upper lip, her cheeks and lost essentially all jaw muscles along with the capability to chew food. Jacqueline will have a very difficult and long road ahead through surgeries, various therapies, and the everlasting trauma of this attack.

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>To date, Jacqueline has undergone 8 surgeries with more planned soon. Initially, her surgeries were lifesaving in nature. Her subsequent surgeries have been and will be reconstruction of her face over the next several months including:

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>• Formation of a new nose

</div>

<div>• Multiple procedures to ensure her ability to hear sound

</div>

<div>• Replacement of her lost ears with prosthetic ears

</div>

<div>• Skin grafting of the interior of her face

</div>

<div>• Installation of lower eyelids to ensure that her vision and eyes can function properly

</div>

<div>• Reconstruction of upper lip

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Should these efforts prove unsuccessful, a full facial transplant may be her only option, but that cannot even be considered until several months from now.

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>Donations to Jacqueline will be necessary for each of the following expenses that will last from the date of the attack, 12/23/21, throughout potentially her lifetime.

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>• Medical care expenses incurred due to this violent tragedy

</div>

<div>• Physical, occupational, and emotional therapy

</div>

<div>• Loss of earning capacity sustained

</div>

<div>• Costs to cover physical impairment and disability sustained

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>As you can see, Jacqueline can truly use all the support she can get. Her many friends are asking for your financial assistance in the amount of $2 million to offset the considerable financial burden of this traumatic attack. Even if you are unable to donate now, please pray and share with friends and family to circulate her miraculous story of survival, strength, and courage.

Jacqueline Durand Nearly Killed in Dog Mauling

<div>Each year, dedicated physical therapy students travel to a small town in the Dominican Republic to volunteer their time and clinical services to the community. Our class is currently in our third and final year of physical therapy school and has been given the opportunity to go on a service learning trip to the Dominican Republic. This year, 11 students along with faculty members will work closely with Dominican partners, seeing patients in local clinics and in-home visits and learning about the culture and history of the Dominican Republic. Throughout the week, we will diligently work from sunrise until late into the evening and learn an immeasurable amount about providing physical therapy and public health interventions in a developing country with little to no resources. This trip will not only be providing services to the communities we will be visiting, but will also be giving the students immensely valuable interpersonal communication skills working alongside experienced physical therapists, doctors, and other professionals, as well as sharpening our Spanish language skills.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>If you would please consider a contribution—in any amount—we would be grateful for your help. You will have the satisfaction of helping provide physical therapy students with a wealth of real-world clinical experience and aid in providing physical therapy to an under-resourced community. We rely on donations to provide medical supplies and equipment for the community and are setting a minimum goal for our fundraiser of $3,000. Even the smallest donations will help.<br /><br /><em>No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe</em><br /><br />

Physical Therapy Service Trip to DR

<p>Please help raise money for expenses for the unforeseen and unfortunate loss of Katie. Katie was gruesomely murdered in Piedmont Park early Wednesday morning. Katie was as a kind, beautiful and loyal partner. The following words are from Emma her wife of 6 years and best friend. Bowie (not pictured) was also the love of Emma’s life.

</p>

<p>From Emma:Today I lost the love of my life and my baby boy. It was tragic. She was the most intelligent, kind, humble, and beautiful person I have ever known. I wanted to spend every second with her. He was the sweetest most loyal companion. My heart is so very broken, my world will never be the same. Thank you to everyone who has reached out. It is truly appreciated.

<p>To everyone who has donated, sent words of condolence and helped keep Katie and Bowie in the media.
</p>
<p>There are no words to express the gratitude of your generosity.  We will continue to work/pray/be present in keeping Katie and Bowie in the hearts and minds of everyone to prevent this from happening again.  We will not stop until there’s justice. It could be next week or next year. Nonetheless we will never stop. I ask now if you’re a believer in Christ to pray that the perpetrator(s) is/are found and brought to justice. We pray for the safety of your families and that you have many blessings laid upon you.

Katie Gone too Soon

<p>This morning around 3:00am on Lawrenceville Highway, Hiro was hit by a car. Hiro’s primary form of transportation was electric bike. The driver of the car fled the scene and several other cars just continued to drive past Hiro as he laid on the pavement bleeding and in severe pain. Nobody stopped to help him. Luckily, he managed to call 911 and the ambulance took him to the ER. He has several staples on his head, broken teeth, a broken hip and road rash on various places of his body. He is scheduled to receive surgery to repair his broken hip.

</p>

<p>Hiro and I have been together for over 3 years. I started this gofundme hoping to raise money for his medical bills etc. Hiro does not have medical insurance. He is a very kind person who works extremely hard. He typically traveled about 2 hours a day with electric bike to get to and from work. With his injuries he will not be able to work for a while. He has no family in the country. All donations are sincerely appreciated. I will update everyone about his condition on here as I receive information.

</p>

<p><br />
</p>

<p>Update 4:00pm 06/13/21 - Hiro’s pelvis is broken in 3 places on his right side. The doctor said the decision for surgery will be made by tomorrow around noon. There is a chance that he will not need surgery. Hiro and I want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for donating and sharing.

</p>

<p><br />
</p>

<p>Update 9:13am 06/14/21 - Hiro is going into surgery now to repair his hip. He will be put to sleep with anesthesia. He should be out of the operating room by 1:00pm. I will be at the hospital waiting for him to get out of surgery and I will post an update again as soon as possible. We are so blessed for all of the support.

</p>

<p><br />
</p>

<p>Update 1:05pm 06/14/21 - Hiro’s procedure went well and he is awake now.

</p>

<p><br />
</p>

<p>Update 4:28pm 06/14/21 - The procedure involved placing 1 metal plate and 5 screws into the right side of his pelvis. The nurse estimated that recovery time could be anywhere between 2 and 3 months. Hiro expressed to me his gratitude and deep feelings of love. He said he didn’t realize how many people actually care about him. We are both so thankful for the overwhelming support from everyone including the police officer, the EMS and the hospital staff. He told me that he wants to do something special for each and everyone who has been supportive during these hard times.

</p>

<p><br />
</p>

<p>Update 3:07pm 06/16/21 - Hiro lost a significant amount of blood during his surgery. He is currently receiving a blood transfusion.

</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Update 9:24pm 06/18/21 - Hiro was discharged from the hospital today. My mother and I picked him up and took him to his home. He is still struggling to move around but he is slowly gaining his strength and using crutches. He needed a new bed, bed frame and window ac unit. I purchased all of them and installed/built everything with my father. I want to thank everyone again for all the love and support!

In memory of a wonderful son, amazing father, best brother and exceptional friend...<br />*** <strong>Zlatko (Z) Baric ***<br /><br /></strong>Z's passing was traumatic and sudden. He is leaving behind two girls, a mother and sister. He was the backbone and support to his women and not only does this event leave them heartbroken but also lost in how to navigate the rest of the world with him now gone. <strong><br /><br /></strong>As his dear friends Vedad + Brittany Arslanagic we are trying to raise money to support the funeral/burial expenses ($16,000) and we're also hoping to raise extra money to send to his immediate family to provide support in their major time of need. We will split any remaining funds between his two beautiful daughters (Ella &amp; Mia) and also his mother (Slavica).<br /><br />Thank you in advance for all of your support and consideration during this trying time.  May you rest easy, Z.

Zlatko Baric Memorial and Family Support

<p>Jennifer Watson was in her house listening to music when she heard her dogs barking like never before. When she went outside to see what was going on she heard a frantic yell for help. A family was stranded in the middle of South Lake. While on a fishing outing their boat took on water and sank. Fully clothed, dad was struggling to get his 4 year old son to the shore. When Jennifer saw what was happening she did not hesitate, jumping into the water and keeping her eye on the family, she swam out to the middle of the lake and helped the little boy get to shore with a very grateful dad following behind. Once on shore Jennifer’s brother Johnny, found clothes and blankets to give the cold and tired men as well as chance to catch their breath.
</p>

<p>This is just the tip of the iceberg.  Jennifer is a hero everyday, helping her mom who has MS and is wheelchair bound.  Everyday Jennifer helps her mom to her chair, feeds her, bathes her, makes sure she takes her medication, and is just there for her.  If mom has an itch, it’s Jennifer who scratches it.  She has chosen to go to school locally and works her schooling around her mom’s care.  Jenn is studying to be a nurse at school but she brings with her the compassion she has learned from her mom who tries to stay positive everyday and keep their family together.<br /><br />I feel so very lucky to know this amazing young woman.  A real life hero.

Hi everyone, <br />I am asking for your assistance for my two-year-old son. Before the age of one, his pediatrician considered him advanced for his age, with all his milestones, and how he would engage in speech. That all came to an end when he received his one-year vaccinations.  <br /><br />The same day of his vaccine he developed a fever, I didn't think anything of it since that was normal. But when it peaked to 104 degrees, I was really scared. I quickly took my son Kaiser to his pediatrician and was informed he had dual ear infections. He was given antibiotics. I thought great in 10 days he will be fine. Boy how wrong I was. Six weeks and three different antibiotics later my son's ear infections ceased. But he was never the same. He completely stopped talking. I reported my concerns to pediatrician.  <br /><br />After reporting my sons speech issues to his doctors I was brushed aside. They did not take my concerns for my son seriously. After doing a speech evaluation with a speech therapist I was told that his speech had regressed but there was nothing they could do since it was not as bad. They would not help my son until his condition was more extreme. They would not do anything to prevent his speech from further deterioration. Now my son is two years old and his speech has completely ceased.<br /><br />After a recommended evaluation it turns out he received a brain injury. A result  of the high fevers due to the vaccine he received.  In order to reverse the inflammation in his brain, and he needs 40 sessions of Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. The cost is more than I can handle.  Insurance does not cover the 40 therapy  sessions of a total of $10,000. After contacting the manufacturer directly they are willing to give Kaiser a chamber with the oxygen concentrator for $6,000. <br /><br />This is where I need your help. I have been fighting for my son for the past two years and I will not stop. I am asking if you can find it in your heart to please help my son get this much needed treatment.  No amount is too small. <br />Thank you.

On Dec 20, 2019 my mother passed away unexpectedly. She suffered from seizures and the details still are unclear why, our family dog attacked my mother while having a seizure. My 13 year old little sister ran to get help but she passed away due to her injuries. I don't know how or what to do.  If you could please consider donating, my family would be grateful. My mom, was a single parent to us three girls. Thank you so much.

Funeral Expenses For Melissa Ausmus Astacio

Our family is devastated, my sisters life was taken from her. After ongoing domestic violence, abuse and being released on bail, my brother in law decided to take my sisters life into his own hands. With my mother, sister and three kids in the car he shot through the front windshield and drivers side. My mother was shot three times and my sister did not make it. The road the children have ahead of them is not an easy one.  My sister was a warrior, she fought for our country, she made people laugh and brightened every room she went into.  She was a mother, a sister, a daughter, a veteran and did not deserve to go this way. My brother in law ran from the cops and then shot himself in the head. Leaving my nieces and nephew with no parents. My mother was rushed into surgery and had operations done on both her hands and arms and my mothers worst nightmare is realized; she has to burry her eldest daughter. My sister Janice and I vow to protect, support and nurture these children for the rest of our lives. Medical bills, planning a service and getting my sisters body from Washington State to New York is a long and difficult process.  We want her to be with us, near us and we want to keep her memory alive. We need to buy seven plane tickets in order to get back to New York along with packing important belongings for the kids and getting everything across the country.  This journey will not be easy, it will be emotionally, physically, mentally and financially draining, but with all the love and support we can try to give these children the best lives we possibly can. Prayers will always be appreciated along with your support. Please share and help us get through this difficult time. God Bless. <a href="https://q13fox.com/2019/11/26/3-shot-including-gunman-near-vancouver-wash-elementary-school/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://q13fox.com/2019/11/26/3-shot-including-gunman-near-vancouver-wash-elementary-school/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://q13fox.com/2019/11/26/3-shot-including-gunman-near-vancouver-wash-elementary-school/</a></a>

Support for Kayla, Cameron and Jasmine

I know most of you have heard about Deanna's shocking medical diagnosis. We wanted to start a fundraising campaign to help her through this difficult time. The medical bills add up quickly and is the last thing you want to worry about when you're sick. I know it will take some stress off of her and the family to have this support. She will be starting treatment soon and we don't know if she will be able to work through this process. The funds will help her with everyday expenses and medical treatment. Anything you can donate will be a tremendous help to her and greatly appreciated. It's time to all rally together and help our sweet Deanna fight this! <br />We are starting a meal train for her if you would like to send or bring food, I will send the information if you want to join. We will also create a caring bridge account so she can update everyone on her health journey.<br /><br /><br />Deanna's mom Kai Molencamp will be managing the funds for her throughout this process. <br />Thank you again for all the love and support!

Please support the family of Luna and Phoenix Rodriguez<br /><br />On Friday, July 26th, the lives of 1-year-old twins Luna and Phoenix Rodriguez were tragically cut short due to an unfortunate accident. As Marissa, Juan, and their family attempt to process this unconscionable nightmare, we kindly ask for your love and support. Life will never be the same for them. Beyond being completely devastated and heart-broken, the road ahead is a difficult one, between funeral arrangements, the media frenzy preventing them from returning home, home and legal expenses, and lost wages. <br /><br />Juan Rodriguez is a loving father and a dedicated husband, with a relentless drive to improve the lives of his family and community. A disabled veteran, as well as a social worker for the VA Hospital in the Bronx; he has first-hand knowledge of how traumatic experiences can impact lives. He has helped countless veterans with their daily lives and has served as a liaison between veterans, and outside agencies that work closely with the VA hospital. He has dedicated his life to public service, positively affecting thousands of lives. Juan is an honest and hard-working man. A man who now has to deal with the same type of traumatic loss that he has helped others cope with in the past.<br /><br />The Rodriguez family suffered a tragic loss yesterday in this unfortunate case of what is known as Forgotten Baby Syndrome, where parents accidentally forget about a child and leave them in their vehicle while performing daily tasks and routines. Parents often think that their child is in a safe place, like daycare or at home. It has become a reoccurrence across the country, and unfortunately, it happened on July 26th, while Juan worked in the VA hospital in the Bronx; a shift he has done nearly every day, to support his family and children. <br /><br />This incident was a heartbreaking accident that has impacted the entire family. We are asking for your support, to help them get through this horrible and dark moment, and to find peace during this nightmare. The family seeks to mourn together and be reunited, while they begin to tackle the impossible task of going on with their lives. We are asking for community support, in the same manner that Juan and Marissa have supported this community, while they cope with this tragedy.<br /><br />To assist the Rodriguez Family with the financial burden that this will place on them; we’ve created a GoFundMe. Would you please consider making a donation and sharing within your network? Thank you.

Our long-time and beloved bus driver, Matthew Day, died suddenly on Sunday, April 15th.  We humbly asking for donations to help cover funeral costs and if anything is left over, it will be used toward education for his two children, 4 and 7 years old.  Any amount is appreciated.  <br /><br />Feel free to contact Annie Lindsay if you have any questions.  <br /><br />Thank you for your support and generosity!
