✨Step Back Into 1925: A 100th Birthday Celebration On November 2, 1925, my dad was born in Trenton, New Jersey, the youngest of seven children to Polish immigrant parents. This year, he turns 100 years old, and I want to honor him with a celebration as remarkable as the life he’s lived. As a young man, he proudly served our country in World War II as a U.S. Army veteran, then spent most of his career working at General Motors. After retiring, life had one more blessing in store: he met Kathy…and together they chose to raise me as their own. Because of my dad’s decision to adopt me, I am who I am today. This milestone is extraordinary on its own, but for me it’s even more meaningful. I have always dreamed of giving him a celebration worthy of his life and legacy — and of honoring both him and my mom, may she rest in peace. As many of you know, times are hard. Caring for him and keeping him in his apartment where he feels safe and comfortable has been expensive. That’s why I’m reaching out for help in making this celebration possible. The Plan • Date: Sunday, November 9 • Time / Location: Lunch / Somerset NJ • Theme: 1925 — music, décor, and attire (if not 20s clothing, black and gold is best) • RSVPs: Close friends and family who actually knew my Dad - Please let me know if you’re available and plan to attend ** NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 5 ** I need a head count to be able to choose/reserve the venue. How Funds Will Be Used • Securing a simple, elegant lunch venue • Decór, food, drinks, cake and keepsakes How You Can Help If you are able, please consider contributing to this celebration. Every donation will help us create a day that honors not only his 100 years of life, but also the love and time he gave by choosing to be my dad. If you cannot contribute financially, your presence, your prayers, and your memories of him are just as valuable. Thank you for helping me celebrate a man who has given so much love, and for being part of this once-in-a-lifetime moment!
