Supplies to Standing Rock Sioux

Some friends and myself are planning a trip to North Dakota to stand in solidarity against the Dakota Access Pipeline over our Thanksgiving break. Our objective is to offer support to shut down the DAPL and deliver supplies. The pipeline runs through sacred Native land and poses a serious threat to their main source of water. Protesting this pipeline means more than defending precious water; it means defending survival and humanity of precious PEOPLE.  Recently, Native Americans protesting to save their own land have had endured police terror and extreme violence such as rubber bullets, batons, teargas, mace, sound cannons, and siccing dogs on people.

If injustice breaks your heart as much as it does mine please consider donating. ALL DONATIONS will go only towards the cause. We are hoping to fill a van full of supplies. 

With Thanksgiving holiday right around the corner, I have so much to be thankful for; however, I cannot go to my comfortable home and memoralize all of my blessings and celebrate a holiday founded colonial principle when Native Americans lives and land are being devalued in a horrendous fashion. I encourage you to deeply consider the treatment of Native Americans and take a stand for justice and survival of a group of people who have, since Western arrival, experienced mass genocide, erasing of culture, and colonial violence. Please think about what you are thankful for and offer the chance for basic survival for others.Please consider donating.
