The Royal Boys Choir
Spende geschützt
From New Orleans, LA, The Royal Boys Choir is a non profit organization consisting of young men, ages 9-13, singing of hope and change. We aspire to spread the message of love and non violence throughout the World.
The Royal Boys Choir was formed during the unfortunate closing of Miller McCoy Academy, an all boys public school that was on a mission to change the lives of urban young men. The Miller McCoy Boys Choir had just been formed and was being recognized all over the city. The choir was featured on WDSU News, WGNO News, and other broadcasting stations. Once the decision was made to close the schools doors, many wondered what would happen to the choir. Reginald Varnado Jr., the choir's director, decided to continue the choir under a new name. The Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church graciously opened their doors to The Royal Boys Choir. Now consisting of middle school age boys from around the city, the Royal Boys Choir will continue to spread its message to whomever will listen.
We are raising funds to buy our very own sound equipment for our performances. We are asked to perform quite often and would love to put on the very best performance. We do a great deal of movement throughtout the performance, so we are looking to purchase headworn wireless microphones, a sound mixer, and other accessories to make this easy to take with us to every performance.
We love performing and spreading a message that we hold dear. Getting this equipment will ensure that we always give a high quality performance that will leave the audience amazed and inspired. We will be forever grateful for your donation. Help us make the world a more loving place.
