Tennessee State University football student-athlete, Christion Abercrombie, suffered a life-threatening injury during the Tennessee State - Vanderbilt game on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Christion remains hospitalized in critical condition. The designated funds will be used to help support Christion and his family during this time.

I would to like to say that our God is awesome. Christion is a walking miracle. I appreciate the continued support and prayers. Because of the prayer warriors and supporters, we are able to care for our son appropriately. Here is an update:
9/29-10/17-Christion was in ICU at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, 10/17-12/21-Christion was admitted to Shepherd Center in Atlanta, 12/21-Discharged to go home, 12/26-3/28-Christion started Shepherd Pathways were he attended a rehabilitation program that focused on Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy daily. 3/25-Started Beyond Therpay at Shepherd. This journey is amazing that God has graced us with. We are so thankful! We never ever take these moments for granted. Please continue to pray for Christion’s comfort, peace, understanding and his full recovery. Be blessed and be a blessing!

Christion is still in critical condition. The Abercrombie family and the TSU family are prayerful and in high hopes and spirits that Christion will have a full recovery.
