I had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Amir Masala in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania when I was a visiting resident surgeon at Muhimbili National Hospital in 2018. He is now the director of the Mkamba Medical Centre in Mkuranga District south of Dar Es Salaam and doing extraordinary work!
