School Lunch Initiative

Love in Action, Inc is a non-profit organization in the process of obtaining 501 (c) (3) status, that is looking to enrich the lives of people in our local communities. Our first project is in the Wisconsin Rapids School District. Love in Action has successfully changed the way students with negative account balances are handled.  Love in Action, Inc is working with the Food Service Department and will pay for students' lunches when they cannot afford them so the students do not go hungry and are not singled out for not having enough money. We are hoping to raise enough to cover all students in the district who would otherwise not have enough money for hot lunch. Donations will be given to the Wisconsin Rapids School District.
