Our daughter, sister, niece...friend has just recently been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). We do not know much as this time, but we do know that surgery will be in the near future.
The unknown is in store, and with that comes medical costs. Depending on whether she needs Chemo or not, types of medication she will need, reconstruction, testing etc.; the average full treatment for breast cancer can range anywhere from $6,000 - $200,000 (give or take / with or without insurance).
During recovery, Sam won't be able to do much, and that includes helping care for her two young daughters. Going to work, making meals, and other daily activities will be limited, if not completely eliminated for a period of time.
Please help us raise money for Sam to help cover some medical costs, and help keep food on her family's table in this time of need.
Sam is the strongest person we know with the biggest heart; they say the best people face the toughest challenges. Well, this is yet another challenge Sam is going to knock out of the park, but this time she needs our help (whether she asks for it or not)!
