This March, The Salt Mine guitar and bass repair workshop in Darlinghurst is raising funds to go towards gear for Girls Rock! Sydney camp attendees to help them rock out! These include picks, strings, straps, cables and instruments.
In conjunction with International Women’s Day (March 8th), Salt Mine will be offering free instrument servicing, re-stringing and set-up for all girls, trans and non-binary customers over three days (March 8th, 9th, and 10th).
Girls Rock! Sydney Girls Rock! Sydney is a week-long school holiday program aimed at inspiring female, trans and non-binary youth by amplifying their voices through music education and performance. Camps include lessons from experienced musicians, structured creative workshops and live performances, as well as the fostering of healthy, positive relationships between participants, performers and music professionals.
