Help A Hero

Hi! I’m Sarah Wood, in 2015 I was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumor, glioblastoma. But I’m not asking for donations to me, I’m asking for donations for my dear friend, Kelly Matthews. Kelly Matthews has NF1 and dysautonomia. A doctor once told her, she easily has over 1,000 tumors. But she still manages to improve everyone’s life that she can. Kelly started a non-profit, called Tumor Hater (tumorhater.org) where she sells clothing items and donates the funds to children and their families who have tumors that wreak havoc on them. 

One of my favorite things Kelly does for this non-profit, is she makes capes for the children she has as Heroes. She buys all supplies from her own funds and the capes always make the kids so so happy. 

Kelly usually borrows a sewing machine, and doesn’t buy her own. I’m raising money for her, because I want to gift her the money so she can finally own her own sewing machine and continue bringing joy to the people she helps and have joy herself for being able to create, which makes her feel good too!
