My name is Sarah Sleeter, i'm from Menifee CA. Our reason for Ride fo Route 91 is to raise money for 3 local families affected by the tragedy that unfolded at the Route 91 Harvet festival. Their stories touched our hearts and we wanted to get a community behind them to show love and support. This is our reason...

On October 1, we stood in a crowd enjoying a country music concert, when a senseless act of 1 man took away lives and changed lives forever. We received so much love and support this past week, and now we feel it’s our duty and part of our healing in this journey to support our community that was affected. To the beautiful Moms who went to that concert and didn’t come home to their children and to the Moms who lives are changed from the injuries they sustained that night. For all the people who reached out to us, with so much love and support, we hope you can reach a little further and support those who are on our hearts, the ones who didn’t come home and the ones who need a little extra help right now.

Now the event is over and we were able to raise more then we expected. Please read below for our plan for the funds.

Patricia Mestas on of Menifee CA was one of the 58 victims of the shooting, we were standing with her when she was shot. we later learned she was with 2 other friends. Our Plan this week is to pass on funds to one of her friends Kim Gervais who was also shot, and has life changing injuries. Kim is still in hopsital at this time.

Chelsea Romo, from Wildomar CA. A single Mom of 2. We want to pass on funds to her to support her little family, whether its for expensese now or the furture. We even had one of her dear friends attend our event.

Hannah Ahlers, from Beaumont CA, leaves behind a husband and 3 beautiful children. We also wanted to pass funds onto this family to show our love and support. We have been in contact with some of Hannah's dear friends so we are able to pass these funds directly to the family.
