Rick and Rhonda are the best friends anyone could ever ask for. They have been there through thick and thin for so many of us; always first to offer a helping hand and always first to share whatever they had, whether or not they knew the person in need.
The last few years have been difficult for both of them as Rick experienced several health crises. After weathering the the storms together, it seemed that Rick was finally on the mend.
On Wednesday, Rhonda lived through a wife's worst nightmare. She came home from work to find that her husband of 18 years had passed away unexpectedly.
Now, after so many years of helping others, Rhonda is in need of help herself. Rick's passing has left her in a short-term financial crisis as she struggles to pay final expenses, settle bills, and get herself back on stable ground.
Rhonda is honoring Rick's wishes to do "nothing fancy" for him. The family will be hosting an informal memorial service on Saturday, March 3rd, at 11AM. The memorial will be at Villages of Westcreek Community Center, 12395 Military Drive West, San Antonio, Texas, 78253
We, Rick and Rhonda's friends, have opened this page to create an easy place for the many people who would like to help Rhonda through this difficult time, or those who want to help honor Rick's only request - "take care of my wife if anything happens to me."
