Periods in Poverty Cardiff
A student-led, initiative based in Cardiff raising awareness about, and tackling, period poverty. We advocate for donation points in female and gender neutral toilets for sanitary products, for people in hardship and donate to local charities to support those affected.
Donate!
We raise and distribute donations across Cardiff; currently between three different charities in Cardiff, including two homeless charities. We hope to expand this in the future to support women and girls in hardship and refugees.
Campaign!
Alongside this, we are campaigning to make sanitary products freely available for people in hardship and to remove the tax on sanitary products, meeting with local MP's and raising awareness about the issue faced by so many women.

We hold fundraising events to raise awareness and funds to support Periods In Poverty.
