Nicole's Breast Cancer Battle

This is my beautiful sister Nicole Weed. She is 39 years old. She has spent the last 6 years in college getting her doctorate degree. She has two sons, ages 13 and 9. She is a great mom, has the biggest heart of any woman I know, she is always making me laugh, she loves to play softball and she lives for her kids. And right now that what's she's trying to do, just live as long as she can for her kids.
In 2015 she found a lump in her breast. She wasnt concerned about it cause it didn't hurt and it didn't seem to be very big so she blew it off for awhile. She eventually told her boyfriend and he insisted she go get it looked at. June of 2015 she went and got a mammogram, it came back abnormal. They had her get a ultrasound, it came back abnormal. They did a biopsy and determined it was breast cancer. She had to go through a lot of test to determine exactly what kind and how severe her cancer was. They determined the cancer had already spread to her bones. She has been non stop going to doctors for tests, treatment, trial treatment and medications. She has been doing several rounds of radiation treatments on her hip and on her knee. Recently the cancer formed a tumor on her eye that made her eye swell and run constantly. They decided to do radiation on her eye also. She couldn't see or drive or barely even walk for weeks so she just stayed in bed and cried. She is currently in the hospital for low blood count and her oxygen level dropped so she is getting blood transfusions and is on oxygen and while in there they surgical put in a chemo port to help administer further medication. She just learned she will now most likely lose her hair due to this treatment.
With all these appointments and the medications she is on she has tried so hard to keep working at her job that she had just been going to school for years to get but it's been nearly impossible these past few months. She is on medical leave now but I'm not sure if she will be able to go back and I'm worried about how she will be able to financially take care of herself and her boys so I decided to try and think of a way to help. I've seen these GoFundMe sites but never really looked into it till now. I'm hoping it can help my sister. I've seen her help so many people. Thank you for reading.
