McKenize Strong!!



“You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and the manner in which you live,"ESPN commentator, Stuart Scott , said at his ESPY presentation, while fighting cancer himself, "So live. Live. Fight like hell. And when you get too tired to fight, lay down and rest and let somebody else fight for you." 

Let me me tell you about a beautiful young lady that is a beloved daughter, sister,  and friend to many. McKenize Rogers is a 17 year old young lady who is about to enter her senior year of high school. In June of this year, instead of enjoying her summer break, McKenize and her family received the news that any parent dreads and that McKenize has stage IV Hodgkin Lymphoma and is in for the battle of her life.  

This is family has always been willing to give to anyone that needed something and would drop what they are doing in an instant to help someone. It’s our turn to pay it forward and donate to help with McKenize’s ongoing treatment and the costs incurred with travel, medical costs, time loss from work( this is the big loss that we can help with), and lodging during chemo sessions in Louisville so this family can be together as they always have been. 

I have set up a savings account that will only be given directly towards these costs and any funds remaining will be donated towards Hodgkin Lymphoma cancer research. Let’s make this the biggest donation yet and help two causes!!!
