Liverpool F.C. Graves

Former Liverpool F.C. player and 1905-06 league title winner Bobby Robinson and George Patterson, who served Liverpool F.C. for many years in various roles, including manager, are buried in unmarked graves in Anfield Cemetery. This fund has been set-up to ensure that both of these graves are marked.

Having been granted permission by Liverpool City Council to place a headstone on both graves, Sarsfield Memorials have kindly leant their expertise to the project and will carry out the installation of the headstones. Having liaised with Sarsfield Memorials, the design will be a standard black headstone with the following inscriptions:

Bobby Robinson:

Robert Smith Robinson

1st October, 1879 - 10th October, 1950.

League Championship Winner With Liverpool F.C. 1905-06.


George Patterson:

George Patterson

1887-1955

Assistant Manager 1908-15

Secretary/Caretaker Manager 1915-39

Manager 1928-36

Both headstones will include the L.F.C. Liverbird crest.
