#LAFlood Rugby Relief

Baton Rouge received record breaking flooding, which took everything from many residents. 

Members of Louisiana Lagniappe, a women's rugby team, created this campaign and it went far beyond what they expected. They partnered with leadership from the Austin Huns and the Austin Valkyries to create Rugby Relief.

Rugby Relief is a non-profit in the process of creation, which will use rugby power to help when disaster strikes in FEMA Section 6.

We are using all donations gained in this GoFundMe campaign to help in Louisiana flood relief, and any remaining funds will be given to charity groups assisting Louisiana.

Rugby Relief feels we have what we need to help Louisiana, and still have money left over to donate to charity. Due to this, we turned off donations, because we want to turn our future monetary efforts toward Rugby Relief. To establish the foundation, and prepare for future disasters (we are only in the middle of hurricane season -- at this moment).

Things we have done with donations up to this point:
*Feed and hydrate victims.
*Feed and hydrate volunteers.
*Equip volunteers with tools to clean and gut homes.
*Equip volunteers with PPE to clean and gut homes.
*Assist in moving damaged items from houses to curb sides.
*Assist in demolition.
*Assist in clean up.
*Purchasing requested items for shelters.
*Purchasing requested items for local item drives.
*Purchase deep cleaning supplies for volunteers.

Future expenditures:
*Continue feeding and hydrating volunteers and victims.
*Contiue purchasing needed supplies for flood clean up.
*Help families, that have lost everything, replace some of what was lost.
*Remaining money donated to charities helping with #LAFlood.
