My children and I would like to thank everybody who called, texted, came over, walked over, or expressed sadness of our loss. We have had a very difficult time with the giant hole in our hearts. The sadness we feel has almost been crippling.  We know she was tired of the meds and the pain that Cancer infixes on anyone who has a relationship with someone with Cancer.  We are incredibly grateful for all the friends, coworkers, family, Schools, Doctor and Nurses for your support.  Kris and I knew we had limited time together but she wanted to try and get as much time as possible without suffering and worry.  Most days when I look back at our 22 years together it was clear that when she said " YES I DO!" I was the one who won the Lottery.......  She always believed in me and knew I wood be a awesome father and husband.  We can't say thank you enough to everyone.

As"many of you know, Kris Springsteen was first diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago in 2009.  She fought a difficult battle and survived but not without the prayers and support of so many of her family and friends.  Unfortunately she has had to enter the ring again, this time with Stage IV breast cancer that has metastasized to both her liver and bones.   It's a daunting task that will require weekly chemo for at least 4 months, ongoing infusions for the remainder of her life, and many unplanned medical and household expenses.  It has been very trying for the entire family not knowing what the future holds.  So many people near and far have  have asked how they can assist, but most of her support group reside in Denver where she fought her first battle.  So we've set up this Go Fund Me site to help.  She mostly needs assistance with house work, food delivery, yard work and outings for her 3 children to help maintain some happiness and normalcy during such a difficult time.  Unexpected medical expenses are also rising. Her family greatly appreciates anything you can donate to help alleviate some of the stress during this difficult time.
