Shaving for Lyme
Back in April of 2014, my sister started getting very sick. From a chronic headaches that have persisted for the last 2 years, to brain fog, minor memory loss, nausea, vomiting, chronic fatigue, skin sensitivities, and insomnia. Recently she has been experiencing neurological symptoms that force her into muscle spasms, contractions, and ticks that can last an entire day. Finally, about 2 months ago, after a bombardment of tests and hospital visits they came to a conclusion. Lyme Disease.
It's a bittersweet diagnosis. On the one hand, they have a direction to proceed in testing, but due to the immense nature of the disease, it can easily reach upwards of $10,000 a month in tests and treatment. Which is where we step in! Camille and I want to help. So from this moment forward, donations made to my sister’s medical fund will have an additional “bonus”. For the first $2000 that is donated from this moment on, the dreads that I have grown for 4 years will be cut off and my head shaved. As for Camille, if an additional $1000 is raised, she will cut her dreads that she has grown for 3 years and HER head shaved as well.
So whether you'd just love to see Camille and myself bald, or if you want to follow this link (https://www.gofundme.com/carefortash)
and contribute straight to their page (And maybe save our dreads!) absolutely any contribution will help.
You can find out more about their story here: http://www.lifeandlyme.com/
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact either myself, or Kenny through their blog.
