Hello; My name is Jordon Williams and I was born with Severe Bilateral Cleft Lip and Palate. I am raising money for a dental surgery which will repair my teeth.
From as early as 6 weeks, I went under numerous reconstructive operations to repair the cleft lip and palate.
Cost Estimated: $83,000+
Although 75% of the surgery is covered through Thames Valley Children Centre, London, my portion is 25%. I need my portion before they book the operation.
There are many problems that can come with the Cleft Lip and Palate besides the appearance. This includes:
· Dental Problems (I have 10 teeth left and 2 that are loose. The other are decaying and falling apart)
· Hearing Loss and Fluid Buildup (both ears)
· Feeding Problems (dime-size hole in palate)
· Speech Problems (air through the nose complicates certain sounds of letters)
