Meet Abubakar.

We call him Bubee for short. He's originally from Nigeria but came to the US to attend Cornell College where he recently graduated with a major in economics and business.

During his time at Cornell Bubee was an honors student, athlete, and community leader. He was the Vice President of Enactus at Cornell which uses entrepreneurship for social betterment. Bubee also took time to use his talented mind to help others, frequently helping classmates and friends with schoolwork. He is also a talented and passionate soccer player who was an integral part of the Cornell team.

Bubee now lives and works in Texas on a visa.
On September 18th Bubee was in a very severe accident during which his vehicle swerved off the road and rolled over several times. He needed to be airlifted to the hospital to receive intensive care. As of now he is still under close care in the hospital. His condition is stable but his injuries were severe and the path to recovery is unclear at this time.
Being a recent graduate just starting a new job, Bubee could use all the financial help he can get. Hospital stays are expensive and the therapy he may need later to ensure the best recovery possible could be even more expensive.
Anyone who knows Bubee will tell you he is one of the kindest and most genuine people they know. He has done so much to make the world a brighter and better place and this is our opportunity to give back. Let's come together and help alleviate financial burden so the only thing Bubee has to focus on is healing.
