Help support Nicole DeFeo

Hello all, my name is Chris McGrath and I am a player in  the Carolina Eagles organization in the USPHL (United States Premier Hockey League,) but this is not about me. Earlier this month, our coach informed us that TJ DeFeo, a goalie in the Carolina Rush organization (our in state rivals) has a 19 year old sister, Nicole DeFeo, who is battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I was very touched when I found out that during the month of January, multiple people would be making donations for every goal that our organization scored and that the money would be going to the Saint Baldrick's Foundation in support of her. We are presenting a check to the Rush organization with all the money that has been raised so far this coming Sunday after our home and home series against them. With only 4 days until the check is presented, I thought about the hockey community and how when one of us is affected, we all join together in support. When we play Charlotte on the ice this weekend we will be the furthest thing from friends as we battle for playoff position. However, off the ice we are apart of this great big family called hockey. I'm asking the hockey community and anyone who would like to join in support of this final push for the Saint Baldrick's foundation and Nicole DeFeo to help in any way you can. A prayer, a thought, and anything positive would be greatly appreciated!!
