Hello, my name is John Rose
i am RElaunching a little grass roots project called "giving back2.0"! Last year was a great succes in raising $720 of the $1,000 we wished for. Starting December 1st until December 23rd were asking everyone who sees this link to donate 1$, just 1$ to make a difference in the three chosen families Christmases! We as artists are heading the project with a $150 donation. Our goal is to bless as many kids as we can with a Christmas gift that is beyond their families financial means. December 23rd we are going shopping at Stonebriar Mall and would love for you to join us!We will post a video of the entire project that will launch on all social media platforms. Everything from the toy purchase to deliveries! Join us this season with our annual tradition and let's make a little something happen for three special families!
I'm asking you to please help me .... I have taken it up on my end this year to come back even bigger and better with my annual fundraiser I started! Last year we raised $720 this year the goal is $2,000 for three less fortunate families.
The first family is a single mother with a baby boy. She cuts and braids my hair, she recently lost her job at our local barbershop and now cuts hair inside of her two bedroom apartment that her son and her live in. A wonderful family that is going through a hard time.
The second family is a family friend of my stepdads, the mother had a stroke 6 months ago and the father had a stroke not too long before the mother ... a stroke is when a blood clot blocks oxygen from being able to pass to the brain and can leave you paralyzed and can also effect your body in several different ways. They have a beautiful family with three beautiful children ages 1,6, and 8 years old.
The third family belongs to a strong warrior that I call my spiritual brother Jason Poncio his son is a hero to me and he is only 6 years old ... at the age of 2 years old Jace was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in January 2013. He is an amazing little boy with a giant smile who seems to capture the hearts of everyone he meets! He loves to help cook, wrestle, play w/ his sisters, read books, play drums, go to church and throw a ball.
