Zoey’s IVDD Spinal surgery

Hi, my name is Tiffany and I’m fundraising for my dog Zoey’s emergency medical surgery for IVDD spinal surgery. I had to take her to the emergency vet in the middle of the night 12/21 due to immense pain from an injury the day before.

Zoey is an extremely active and happy dog, and in the midst of playing- she slipped a disk and has been rapidly declining in functionality with increased pain. The first steps she took the next day resulted in squeals, crazy panting and whining. After her condition seemed to get worse by the hour, I took her to the Emergency vet at 3:30am. They diagnosed her with Intervertebral Disk disease (IVDD) and suggested emergency surgery. The quote for this is $8,000-10,000k. This is for the surgery and anesthesia rates alone, not including the ER vet visit I had already paid. She is currently completely paralyzed in the back legs and not able to go to the bathroom on her own.

After just moving across country barely a month ago, I simply do not have the means to pay this all upfront. I also do not want to risk my baby being permanently paralyzed for the rest of her life. I’m asking if you could please help, I would greatly appreciate it. All funds will go directly to her vet/surgical bill. She’s all I have out here and I am beyond devastated of the vets outcome, but I want to ensure she has a happy healthy life ahead and is able to walk again. Seeing her like this is breaking my heart.
