Support Laura's Battle Against Pancreatic Cancer

Almost 30 years ago my brother David gifted me a sister. And for that I could not be more thankful.

Laura is a 46 year old mother of 3, grandma of 2, Air Force veteran, former police dispatcher for Newark PD for 15 years, wife, daughter, sister and so much more. But to us, she’s everything.

On Oct 8, 2024 Laura was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 terminal pancreatic cancer that has spread to her liver. She has been given anywhere from 3-4 months without treatment and maybe up to a year with treatment.

They have decided to go the treatment route so she has as much time as God allows for her to be with her family and friends.

David is also an Air Force veteran who served the community of Palo Alto for 17 years as a police officer until he had to medically retire out in 2016 due to a spinal injury he suffered on the job. He has been on a fixed medical retirement income since that time.

Laura has been working full-time but with the diagnosis is unsure if she will be able to return to work.

My family is a proud family but we are not too proud to ask for help when it’s needed. Anything at all you can donate towards the medical and other household bills would be a huge help for my brother David during this time of uncertainty.
