Hi, my name is Jessica, and I am starting my bucket list!

I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer affecting six parts of my body. After years of survival — chemotherapy, oxygen, and constant hospital visits — I am finally allowing myself to live. On February 9th, I have a six-minute walk test, and there is a strong possibility I will be able to come off oxygen for the first time in two years.

This bucket list is something I have waited a long time to even allow myself to imagine.

I am on chemotherapy 21 days out of every month and have been unable to work during treatment. Despite this, I went back to college and will be graduating in May. For a long time, my world was very small, and survival had to come before everything else.

Now, I am choosing life.

My bucket list includes traveling to places I once only dreamed about — Japan, Ireland, Jordan, Peru, the Grand Canyon, and more — as well as reclaiming parts of myself that illness put on hold, like learning how to dance and learning how to play the piano.

I am asking for $30,000 to help make this possible. These funds will support health-conscious travel, accessibility needs, safe pacing, and experiences that allow me to live fully without risking my health.

This is not about luxury. It is about life after survival.
