Kathleen Sheridan Mwanga's husband, and father of their four children, Kafero Bob Mwanga, died on November 23, 2015 at the age of 41 in Kampala, Uganda, after a two year battle with cancer.
They were married in Ishpeming, Michigan USA, in July of 2010, and their time together was all too short but full of love and fun and the joy of raising their own family.
Besides Kathleen, Kafero leaves behind his son Chillla David, age 10 months, and three daughters; Koraeny Clara, age 3, Chelema Grace, age 4 ½, and Nagawa Oliver, age 15.
Kathleen intends to remain in Uganda and raise her family there, while continuing to work with special needs students at the International School of Uganda.
We (her parents) have established this site in response to the many inquiries from her friends around the world asking how they can help her. She will have significant financial needs for housing, raising her children, and trips to the U.S to visit her extended family and allow her children to experience the American side of their roots. All of the funds raised will go to Kathleen.
