On June 1st, Yuriy's 38th birthday, an unthinkable tragedy occurred. Yuriy, who is extremely active, did a backflip on a trampoline and unfortunately landed on his head which resulted in a broken neck. He was rushed to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. It was determined that his neck was broken between C5 and C6 which affects all movements from the shoulders down.  He was operated on the following day and surgery was a success!  He was able to wiggle his toes almost immediately following surgery, which gives us hope that God will completely restore him back to total health!!  Yuriy is husband to Tanya (Korobova) and the father of two children ages 17 and 3.  Yuriy works as a carpenter  and will be out of work until he is fully restored and at this time we have no idea when that will occur, as he is currently unable to walk or use his hands.  Unfortunately, this puts an enormous amount of financial stress on the family as he is the breadwinner. We are fully confident that God WILL completely restore him back to total health and as we wait we trust that His timing is always perfect!  Thank you SO much for all your love, prayers, and support for the Sviridovich family.  We are forever grateful.
