We're setting up this GoFundMe page for my brother in law Timmy Blackburn who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 stomach cancer after having an emergency surgery to repair his perforated stomach lining. Anyone facing a battle with cancer will have finicial burdens. . Timmy does not have adequate medical insurance since a neck injury 10 years ago left him disabled. He lost his medical insurance after dedicating 24 years to Crusader Paper Company. Everything Timmy has worked for in those 24 years (retirement fund, investments, savings, etc.) has been depleted while continuing to support his family. TREATMENT The oncologist at Dana Farber wants to aggressively treat Timmy's cancer starting with 6 months of chemotherapy, then surgery to remove his stomach, followed by 6 more months of chemotherapy. Your donations will go straight to Timmy's medical care while he is fighting for his life. It will allow his wife (our sister) to care for Timmy at this most crucial time, help with his hospital bills, help pay for medications, etc. Your donations will lessen Timmy's financial burden and allow him to focus on his fight with cancer. .
