Hello, my name is Kevin. I am 36 years old. I come from a large family that lost both parents at an early age, and I have worked most of my life as a chef. Despite hard work and my own resilience, I have struggled with mental health challenges over the years.

There is something that has weighed heavily on me every day for years: hair loss. I wear a cap constantly – during the day and even at night. The shame is so strong that I never take it off. Looking in the mirror every day is a painful reminder of how much it affects me.
