Robert Mata

On Sunday, June 4th, Robert Mata a beloved Son, Brother, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, and cousin passed away. Robert Mata leaves behind a family who loved and cared for him deeply. Robert was born and raised in Ventura, California. Growing up, Robert was the oldest of his 4 siblings. His siblings are Ginna, Kristine (DeeDee) Joseph and Jessica. He loved sports, specifically football, and baseball. He loved laughing and breaking the rules with his sister Ginna and specifically breaking the rule of waiting until Christmas to open your gifts with his sisters DeeDee and Ginna. Robert enjoyed Dj’ing, fishing, swimming, music, dancing, laughing and being at the beach. Some of his favorite shows as a child were Popeye, Felix The Cat, and The Little Rascals. Robert will be dearly missed by his family. He leaves behind his mother Maxine Hernandez who remembers him most for his love for the beach and strawberry shakes as well as his son Christopher Mata. We appreciate anyone who is willing or able to help the family with this financial cost. Memorial details will be shared for all family and friends soon.
