My Dads Medical Fund

Our dad is the person who would give you his last dollar, the shirt off his back and the shoes from his feet. If for any reason he couldn't give you anything he would still find a way to help you.

Unfortunately, it's our dad who needs the helping hand now.

Our dad has been a working man his whole life until an unfortunate accident resulting in a major back surgery with major life changes. From this accident our dad has gone through four major back surgeries in the last ten years. Pain is a relentless everyday companion for our dad. He currently has a pain pump in his back, has previously had a rod inserted, his back was fused in two spots and unfortunately we've found out that these have un-fused. Because his back is no longer fused his body has been overcompensating and in short his nerves in his legs are starting to go.

Unfortunately, the next step is not just one, but two surgeries within just 3 days of each other. This is so unexpected for our dad. Who has already sold his beloved fishing boat to help come up with some of the money he needs for these surgeries.
His insurance will help some, but the hospital stay, and surgeries all together are totaling towards the $300,000 mark. We are trying to raise $60,000 for his out of pocket expenses.
Any donation is greatly appreciated. We don't expect everyone to donate, simply just spreading the word of someone in need is more than enough.
We want to surprise our dad with these donations, he is not one to ask for help and is always the first to help anyone in need and despite everything he has been through, he still has the biggest heart and deserves so much.

We hope to someday soon see our dad living a pain free life.
