In the early morning of Friday, August 10, Yolanda and her daughter woke up to a loud crack of lightning. It struck somewhere near the living room, and immediately started a fire. The fire spread quickly throughout the house.
There was no time for Yolanda to gather precious family albums. No time to get dressed. No time to do anything but rush to get her daughter Krystal and their dog Lola outside to safety.
Everything is gone. Everything.
Everyone who knows Yolanda knows that she is a strong woman. She's endured more than her fair share of hardship in 2018. But her faith in God remains unshaken by this latest tragedy.
