Marc’s Fighting Journey

Hello friends and family!! My name is Justina Hindsley an I am a mother of four wonderful children MaryJane (19), Jacqueline (17), Marc J.r. (15), Justin (13). About 10 years ago my eldest son was diagnosed with Luekemia (Acute Monaloid Luekemia) AML they call it! From my understanding it was the worse kind a child could get! On February 13, 2013 my sons journey had began. At that time my son had an pneumonia on top of the cancer. He got so sick that one evening they told me to prepare myself because he wasn't to make it through the night! Through prayers, medicine an the strength to want live! My son beat it! He needed a bone marrow transplant. Lucky for us his sister Jacqueline was a perfect match an at 8 years old she helped an saved her brothers life! In summer of 2014 my son was cancer free. For ten years my son grew up to be a real God fearing young man. He'd go to ceremonies all over the united States. Making a little name for himself, started high School an life was going real good. I was out of work for almost two years. An by the grace of God I started a new Job an was looking forward to the holidays an new year. Most of all my children were proud of me going back to work so we could make a way for ourselves! My son Marc was happy an even made me lunch. On November 17th 2023. Ten years after my son fought the hardest battle of his life, the Luekemia has returned! He got sickly all over again an had massive infection on his leg! I'm thankful they caught it in time. Had they not he would of lost his leg. Once again this ugly disease has touched our family, my son an his health. He's currently in the ICU unit at the Gunderson Luthren Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. I'm asking for help financially as this road is going to be a long journey for my son, my little family an I. He just got done with his 1st round of chemotherapy in hopes this kills most of the cancer cells. After this he will be going to Minneapolis Children's hospital to under go another Bone Marrow Transplant! I humbly ask if our family, friends, God fearing people would help us. We will be needing gas, lodging assistance, food. It's been a rough road already for us. As I had to quit my job my son was so proud of me to have obtained. An our van has taken a turn for the worst! His dad travels back n fourth to Minneapolis. My children an I live a hour away an It's been hard financially trying to be there everyday with my son. He's older now an he's well aware of everything that's happening to him. An by the grace of God has such a postive uplifting spirit an ready to fight this head on! Anything will help as our family will be celebrating the holiday season in a hospital! We appreciate any an all contributions of any kind. As of now my little family an I could sure use it financially! I ask for you help. I was looking forward to working hard fo my little family an this happened! My son's name is Marc Anthony James Anderson J.r., he has a spiritual name "Gitchi Benisi" translates to "thunderbird"! He's my strong wonderful young gentleman that has a heart of gold an a will to just live an want good health. We sure appreciate it help us along through his journey to be a survivor once again. Bless all our little boys an girls all over the globe that have cancer. Thank you
