Hello, I am Sophia Barber, the oldest child of the Barber family.  On Wednesday, September 30, my dad, John Barber, suffered a stroke that left him hospitalized for 5 days before being transported to Sunnyview Rehab, where he currently is.  He is undergoing hours of speech therapy, PT, and OT a day, but is constantly exhausted and has a long road to recovery.  As the only source of income, it has placed a tremendous financial burden on my mom, who has been traveling down to see him, all while taking care of my three sisters and recovering herself from shoulder surgery that occured just the day after my dad's stroke.  It is looking like he will be out of work for the foreseeable future, and although I know it is a financially taxing time for everyone, anything would be appreciated.  My dad has done so much for everyone else, we just want to do what we can for him.  My mom has a lot on her plate, and we are looking to just make that plate a little bit lighter.  Thank you all for taking the time to read this. ❤️
