DadBodCycling inc. is an official 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to increasing inclusion and equality in the cycling community. The goal of this fundraiser is to provide 20 bicycles for children in need. 5 of those bikes will go to children with special needs.
“New bike day” is an unmatched feeling that even adult cyclist get excited for. There are economic and systemic limitations that deprive many inner city kids from ever having this feeling. Being a positive male influence and father figure was an essential part of my childhood. My father bought my first bike and taught me how to ride, it is a core memory that I will cherish forever.
My hope is that these funds can bring joy to these children and become an introduction into the sport of cycling that I love.
Criteria For Child Nominees
1. Must be within the 5 boroughs of New York City.
2.Must be between ages 5 and 13.
