Yelm Prairie Christian Center Food Bank

Keith Yates, is an Iraqi War Veteran and resident of the community of Yelm for the past 16 years. He has participated in endurance races and will be participating again September 18th and 19th. He will be running from Flagstaff to The Grand Canyon, a total of 100 miles. He would like to take the opportunity to fundraise for the Yelm Prairie Christian Center Food Bank. The Yelm Prairie Christian Center Food Bank has been serving the community since 1989. The food bank provides 2,200 individual meals a month while also distributing 90-120 pallets of food a month. Approximately 100,000 lbs of food has been distributed to the community since 2017. Yelm Prairie Christian Center was awarded Yelm Chamber of Commerce Wagon Wheel Award for 2020. Keith would like to recognize and support Yelm Prairie Christian Center with this fundraiser for the great work they do for the community, all while asking for nothing in return.
