Hello, my name is Salem (Al-Mabhouh)
and I am German and live in Stuttgart.
I am collecting donations for my friend Anas and his family in Rafah, Palestine.
Anas is a great guy, we communicate daily to talk about our lives and teach each other our mother tongue. The passion I had for a free Palestine was heightened by meeting great people like Anas!
Our goal is to raise funds for Anas and his family to help them survive in Rafah's current conditions, and we hope that they will be evacuated to Egypt once sufficient funds are raised.
Anas's family includes:
Anas and his pregnant wife, who is about to give birth to their two children, are in difficult humanitarian and health conditions in light of the spread of diseases and epidemics.
And his father, Ibrahim Al-Gharabli
And his mother, Wafaa Al-Gharabli
And his sister, Fathia Al-Gharabli
And his sister, Lama Al-Gharabli
So all the money raised will go to helping the above!
If we can raise enough funds to evacuate to Egypt, this will become the priority.
The evacuation will be coordinated through Hala.
The cost of leaving this nightmare and entering Egypt per person ranges between 7,000 and 10,000 US dollars!
This puts us at an evacuation target of approximately US$90,000, plus the high cost of everyday items in this war zone means that the longer it takes to raise evacuation funds, the more money will be needed to keep Anas and his family alive, fed, and safe. !
Below is a word from Anas.
“I write to you today from the heart of a war-torn land, where dreams have been shattered and lives lost or changed forever. My name is Anas Al-Gharabli. I am 22 years old and I live in Rafah with my family.
On the 169th day of this war, I feel compelled to ask for your support and your standing by our side. My family desperately needs you. We are looking for security and safety. We are living a war of famine, disease, murder, injustice, monopoly, and lack of the necessities of life.
We have no choice but to try to evacuate to ensure our family's survival. This includes transportation, accommodation and other basic expenses needed to leave Rafah to Egypt. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to safety. Travel agencies charge between $7,000 and $10,000 to cross into Egypt.
Please help us in any way you can."
These are some pictures of me?
Our smile was beautiful
With the beginning of the war, on October8, the occupation contacted us and the residents of our region. We who live in the Al-Nasr neighborhood were asked to evacuate immediately, so we fled without thinking. Minutes later, a genocide occurred in our area of residence. We miraculously survived, but our neighborhood was completely destroyed, and we no longer had a home. It has been completely destroyed. These are pictures of the neighborhood where I grew up. I have become a pile of stones
The current situation is very difficult. I was displaced with my family to the south in a large bus belonging to residents of the region because the number of my family is large, and something happened in front of us on our way to the south via Salah al-Din Road. The bus directly in front of us was targeted. May God protect us for the second time, so we headed to the south as the occupation asked us to do. We went to one of the houses in Deir al-Balah, but the occupation tanks also quickly approached us and asked us to evacuate the area again due to the approaching tank shells. We fled our shelter in Deir al-Balah, and soon the house was flooded with tank shells and burned, then it was also destroyed. We miraculously survived the third time. We moved again with my extended family, but now no one we know has a house to stay. My family was displaced in a tent on the Deir al-Balah sea, but it was not enough to shelter all of us. Because it was a small tent, we were divided into two halves, half in a tent in Deir al-Balah and the other half in a tent in Rafah. We are now staying in a tent. A small tent made of nylon and some cloth on the side of the street did not protect us from anything, neither from the bombing, nor from the cold, nor from the winter water. Sometimes we wake up drenched in rainwater. We don't have clean water, food, or electricity. Please see. The pictures I took for you, our safety is uncertain. When I sleep, I think about whether we will wake up, die, or become pieces and no one will know us. I am very afraid and I do not want to lose any of my family members. I felt it was difficult and unbearable. We are separated in two areas and may not be able to reach each other at any given time
Despite the tragedy, our children continue to flourish and celebrate the month of Ramadan
I need money to help buy more blankets and supplies for our tents because we are very cold. There is a tent by the sea in Deir al-Balah and it is very cold and the weather is also very bad. We are drowning in rainwater and extreme cold. Children are always sick and there is no cure for them.
We suffer in everything, even if we want to keep warm, it is difficult
I want to leave Gaza City and go to Egypt, knowing that the cost of going to Egypt per person ranges between 7,000 and 10,000 dollars, and my family consists of a large number. I have absolutely nothing: no home, no livelihood, no university. Even my university was completely destroyed as :
I need your help to travel from Gaza City to complete my university studies and find a new home for my family and my mother who was always sad. We had dreams and ambitions. This is a photo of my life before and after the war.
Some pictures of me in the war
I hope to complete my university studies and I hope to find a new source of livelihood for me and my siblings. I wish I could be famous because I'm a beautiful and attractive young man ☺️ but war, famine, fear and sadness have made us different from that. Unfortunately, these are pretty pictures of me
I hope you will help me and donate to me, even a small amount, as this will make a difference. Only your help will protect me and my family. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for donating and for reading my story. I hope to live a beautiful, normal life like any other person. Thank you.
note. ▪️I want to explain to you that I chose Stuttgart because there is no Palestine among the countries, and I have friends who help me collect donations.
▪️ To withdraw funds, I have a friend who studies in Germany. He will help me withdraw donations and send them to me.
Thank you all ❤️
