Kristin's Medical and emergency fnd

Hi, I'm Kristin Beth DiGirolamo; 34 years old and a single mom of 2 remarkable boys.  
In April I underwent emergency breast surgery.  Two weeks ago I received the biopsy results; Invasive Lobular Carcinoma.  My Oncologist believes that the cancer is in the lymphatic system and, because of my symptoms, is also concerned that it's in my stomach. I have been given a life expectancy of 9 mo. to 2 years, without treatment.  
Without more tests, neither the stage or the treatment options can be verified.  But, without medical insurance to cover these expenses, the fact is I'm probably not going to see either of my sons graduate from High School.  So, I'm appealing to you with my heart in my hand! My condition and treatment is complicated by other physical conditions including a disease called Neurofibromatosis.  This disease can create tumors (benign or malignant) anywhere that there is a nerve ending in my body.  My Oncologist told me that this disease acts as a catalyst with the malignant cells and propels the spread of the cancer.

It's not like I'm the first person to ever receive a life-altering diagnosis, but it's a part of "my story" and I'm not ready to give in to it and leave my boys without their mom.
I'm the only daughter of my loving and supportive Mom, Patti Poe Powell,
and sister to two wonderful brothers; Joshua and Jonathan Farmer.  But the most incredible two people in my life
are my 2 boys; Michael (16) and Thomsas (10).  

My kids are EVERYTHING to me!  As a single mom, I've often had to work 2+ jobs to put a roof over our heads and food on our table, yet still spending every precious minute creating a loving, nurturing home with my 2 amazing sons!  


My family is helping me as much as they possibly can, but my sons and I need your prayers, as well as your financial gifts to get through this crisis. If things don't turn around quickly we may have to move in addition to everything else! Quite frankly, I don't have the energy or financial means to handle all of this alone.  

I assure you that I will be a good steward of anything that you feel you can contribute to help my sons and me with our immediate living expenses, my medical test, proceedures and meds.
